No region 2-5A should not have the top 4 spots, Oak Ridge isnt good enough, and right now i dont believe the Govs or the Owls can beat Farragut, but the seasons still young and both teams are gonna get better.

Biggest concern is TJ Walker and then after that penaltys WB has an average of 80 penalty yards a game.

Most of that coming last week, and i believe we had the same crew as we did last year in Ooltewah. Go figure.

WB 5

OHS 3 is my prediction right now.

regardless of who wins any of these games, the fact still remains......Ooltewah, William Blount, Farragut, and Oak Ridge all have strong programs that they can be proud of. Any of these games could go either way, it just depends on how well they play on that given night. SOmebody wins, somebody loses. Let's just hope Ooltewah is on the winning team! Go Owls!

I seriously doubt that SD could beat their own team, even knowing their offense and defense..

The only reason McMinn even came close was becuase of some mistakes that will be corrected. Ooltewah just has to get in the groove. I think Ooltewah and WB will be a good game no matter which side wins and I just wish it was not another week away.

The only reason Ooltewah had 200 yds passing is because of shovel pass to Marshall. Soddy's secondary will pick Ooltewah's QB apart. Pick after Pick. Should Ooltewah be called Ooltewah Marshalls? We know Soddy will shut down Marshall so that might put Ooltewah out of the playoffs.

    • I have no affiliation with Maryville anymore outside of being a 2nd generation graduate from a large family of Rebel alumni. That relationship ended courtesy of the lame duck AD (a Bearden grad I might add) and the HBIC. That said, I could care less if a private school comes through and offers every promising athlete out of that school or any other school better opportunities.
    • A perfect example is for athletes at Clinton High School. I will completely understand, and hopefully everyone should understand why they want to, and as of right now, it looks like that’s going to happen in numbers over the summer.
    • I mean, that’s easy to say when it hasn’t happened to your school that often, if at all, but yeah, I think everybody should be for the student athlete or player. Whatever they think will help them or their athletic career, I feel like they should be able to do that, even if that means transferring schools. Now I don’t really get that when you have almost every offer you could want and then jump ship, but what can I say? I guess money talks.
    • I for one am all for it.
    • Covid killed the city because they chose not to play football in the 2020 season. Therefore, kids weren't able to practice and develop, and continuing to lift weights. Memphis basically had 7/8 graders, skipping a year, then playing 9/10 high school football. Now, there's only one team that has made a "dent" which will be Southwind (made it to the 5A semifinals last year).  If you want to go more suburbs, then it'll be Houston, which won the 6A state title, defeating Oakland Other than that, I agree.
