I'd say if they got a wreath,it came from within to try and fire them up. Hampton's Coaches don't send out wreaths. If it takes something of this nature to get them fired up to play Hampton, they are in trouble from the get go. Idon't think a wreath will make them any better. Now if they could wear it, they might be a little prettier. GETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

 

i'd say your right and if hampton comes out playing like they did last week i feel sorry for Happy Valley!! hey how is Irick will he get to run the ball any this week?

Is that the excuse Happy Valley uses for not being number one in their conference?

I wouldn't bring up the region thing if I were You, the last team in region 1 2a to win a 1st round playoff game was Cloudland. Thats a history lesson,its been that long. Pitiful.

All jokes aside, Hampton needs to go down there with their heads on straight and give it everything they've got. Happy Valley will come to win. This would make their season. There is no doubt in my mind who the better team is, but the best team don't always win. GO BULLDOGS

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
