Nedn1stgrade
Humboldt has best SOS for a wildcard. I believe as long as they beat Gibson County they will get the last spot.
JaxMan
Westview is strong and I think the West will either be them or Milan vs Alcoa
riverrat
There is no 4 spot this year. Only top 3 qualify. Rockwood may be a lock for a wildcard. It looks like you will have to have a winning record to get in as a wildcard.

I will speak slower for you...Rockwood will be a lock for fourth place in region 2 and WILL make the playoff via the wildcard. My question was will Sweetwater make a wild card spot with a 5-5 record and be the FIFTH place team in region 2? Humboldt will be 5-5 as well. JaxMan
Think it will come down to strength of schedule...which is hard to figure how TSSAA will rate that

FBGIRL
It looks like you will have to have a winning record to get in as a wildcard. Probably, but too bad Region 9 will be qualifying 3 teams with losing records.

ReitzFan
True...but there will be less teams with losing records in the playoffs. I am projecting that 6 teams with losing records will get into the playoffs. All three teams from region 9 will have sub 500 records going into the playoffs. I also project that region 3 will have 2 teams with sub 500 records qualify. I also predict region 1 will have 1 team with a sub 500 record make the show. I Love HS Football
Upperman will get in with a losing record at 4-6.
Antwan
Upperman will get in with a losing record at 4-6. Upperman is ahead of Marion Co. and Humboldt right now. I don't think they will get in at 4-6...though. If they beat York...they will probably get in at 5-5. Sweetwater is also still in the hunt.
