IHSEagle4
I haven't posted all week because this thread is so crazy long. I'll be at the game and I'm expecting a good one. Indy controls the running game of Millington and gets the win 27-

Dist11fan
The word is that Indy will be bringing quite a crowd. I would expect nothing less. It's the SEMI-FINALS. This could very well be the largest crowd in Millington history. Last year it was standing room only around the fence on the visitor's side at the Fair Grounds for the semifinal game. Ravenwood had as many as WS at that game. That's what you get when you play a Region 6 team. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

#1trojanfan
The topic says it all. I don't know anything about Millington but after the adversity Independence has been forced to overcome to get this far, I think they'll be awfully tough to beat. Millington has had more than their share of adversity to overcome, and they have done it with class and dignity. These young men are the pride of the school and the community. No matter what happens tonight, this is a team who will never be forgotten, and who will always be referred to as the greatest Millington team. I am so excited for them, and will be cheering with uninhibited pride. All they have to do is look on the sidelines of the greats who have come before them, as if any inspiration was needed. They can look at Mario and Terrell and lay it out on the line for them. Most of all, they can close their mouths and "talk with that black helmet!". fromthetop2
Good Luck to the Eagles as you carry the banner of 6-5A to the semi-finals. You are the fourth different team, and the fourth Willco team to do this in the last five years. You carry the best wishes and support from your county rivals. Each of us were underdogs when our turn came, each facing supposedly the end of the road. Yet, each team dug deep and found a way, and showed how a season long experience of facing some of the top 5A and private school competition in the state week in and week out, steels you to win the game. You may never pass this way again. Leave it all on the field, whatever the outcome, leave it with no regrets. Every poster who has ever played the game will attest to the accuracy of this next statement, so don't forget it: When you take off your pads for the last time, whenever that will be, you will remember that day for the rest of your lives. Good Luck-
indyfan
This may be a silly question but is there any chance the game could sell out? Also, I assume they start selling tickets at 5:30 as they have done here in Williamson County?

Good Luck- Amen to that. GO EAGLES. The caravan to Millington is about to roll! Oh, and for you that can't stand the destiny thing, here is where it came from. Coach Eubanks has a saying: Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. See you soon.
