CPA will roll. No offense, but that district is extremely weak. CPA clearly has the best talent especially with Mason. Lipscomb will always be well coached but certainly their talent isnt what it has been losing Josh Slater (Lipscomb University). There isnt anyone in that district that can even somewhat compete with Mason so he will always put up huge numbers. Miller who is a nice player becomes even better with Mason on the court. Kennedy at FRA is pretty good, but he wont be enough as he doesnt have any help.

Can't say that I disagree. As far as FRA-CPA, FRA better go back to that Tackett style when he was coaching, take the air out of the ball, manage the clock to keep it out of the hands of CPA's offense. If FRA tries to play it straight up, I don't see them having much of a chance to be in the game, unless they have an unconscious shooting night.

I went through CPA's and FRA's boxes real quick. FRA has had four different players record 20+ points in a game CPA only has had two players score 20+ in a game. FRA also looks like they have 8-9 guys contribute nightly. My point is it looks like Kennedy has more help than you are giving credit. Clearly CPA is the best team in the league, but, like Lipscomb, FRA has a punchers chance because of their depth not despite it. Agreed Miller and Mason are lethal, but lets see how things play out Tues. and Fri. before we pass judgement on a team that is in second place with one loss and has beaten Hume, Pearl, and MLK on the road.

All good points. The only thing I think your forgetting is that because of the kind of game CPA plays, they tend to stop a lot of the so called "contributers" FRA has. CPA has beaten them once and believe me when I say it won't be easy for FRA to come to the Lion's Den and play. It will be a much more intense crowd than the last time they played. It will be a great game to watch for sure, but I don't expect FRA to put up as many points as they have been at other district games. CPA's defense has just gotten stronger as the season has gone on...it will be much more of a challenge than before.

I wouldn't give any teams any benefit by box scores and previous games. This district is a lot different than last year in that it has evened out completely between the top 4 or 5 teams. CPA has a slight advantage because of their talent with Mason and Miller. Lipscomb has 5 solid starters, Clayton can catch fire anytime.

But the preceding game to this important match-up between is DLHS and FRA. The two teams match up very well against each other. DL has the aforementioned 5 solid starters and a transfer that is a solid player who has put up some big numbers. But FRA seems to confound me, how is it that with one player they can make it to second in the district? How they always get counted out but still fight it out and are able to have, as stated earlier, 4 different people that have scored 20 points in a game. They're deep, I've seen them play against some fierce opponents and prevail. Although their district schedule up to now hasn't been strong, I think they can prevail and capture the #2 spot in 9AA.
