Managers do not get enough love.

 

They're really selfless in what they do and they never get recognized. Im sure this kid has done everything the coach has asked him over the past four years and gotten nothing from it untill now. Congrats kid on making a memory that will last forever and great deal coach on letting him play good for you.

Great story and great pics. You can really tell that everyone in that gym was genuinely excited for Avery. Really cool story.

it was a real touching thing to see in person, my children go to csas, but they are younger and i had no idea who number 42 was. i was standing behind the student section when they started chanting his name. his sot was a "rainbow" that was nothing but net. He shot two more that were close to going in as well. I think the CSAS team has appreciated this kid from what I have heard over the last 4 years. I have seen a lot of "commradery", surely spelled wrong, at the school since my kids have been a part of the school. Very unique atmosphere in the halls and in the gym.
