Bearden vs Oak Ridge

Very sour!!!! I have seen Bearden play numerous times this season. I have seen them shoot poorly, but I have also seen them make 10 3's in a game. What I have seen consistently as of late is their ability to DEFEND. When they decide to defend (and I am talking about half-court) good shots are hard to come by. They held Maryville to 1 FG in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half in the District Championship game. Process that for a minute. 1 FG in 15 minutes. Maryville could not even get a decent shot off. OR has good athletes, but their ability to win AT Bearden is limited. It is going to take a heck of a game by Jared. The home court is a big factor. Once again, Bearden by doubles. Congrats to Ricky, Travis, and Wes though for winning the other night. That is a great bench with three quality coaches and young men.

This will be a very close game and it will be a great game, I sure don't see Bearden winning in a run away. Save the trash talk till after Bearden wins the state. ETCoach, you might be eating some crow tonight.

This will be a great game. I plan on going. What time does the game start? I want to make sure I get a good seat.

Hey RebelRon.... I have a question for you. My little brother is a sophomore at MHS and he is on the football team. They have to sell Rebel Cards like they always do this year, but they upped the number from 10 to 20. Can you tell me why they did this and what exactly these cards are paying for?

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
