Greenback is looking pretty good so far this season. I have been impressed. But, how will they fair against the redskins come friday night? Last year Loudon beat Greenback 49-14, I think the Kee's have improved since that beating but have they improved enough to hang with a very tough Loudon team? Any comments.... keep them clean and positive for both programs please. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

After the Central game, I was giving Greenback the game. After the CAK game, I'm not as confident. I do think Greenback is better than last year and I don't think Loudon is as strong as last year. Greenback 26 Loudon 18.

This is the year LC breaks the losing streak to Loudon. oops... that didn't work out.

CAK will dominate a weak Loudon team. Uh-oh... somebody forgot to tell the Redskins.

Keep overlooking the Big Red.

I'm not overlooking Loudon, just going off of what has been posted. It has sounded like some people feel there is problems at Loudon. If there isn't, then Loudon should be as good as always. I was not one of those that said Loudon would lose to LC and CAK, in fact I picked Loudon over both of them. I just think Greenback will pull this one out because after the Central game Loudon didn't look as good as last year. I think I stated that after the CAK game I wasn't as sure.

Loudon's "problems" are its youth. With a young team you get a) youthful mistakes and /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> the opportunity to vastly grow and improve from game 1 to game 10 (and beyond). Hopefully the growth outweighs the mistakes and the Redskins continue to improve throughout the year.

I dont think Harig will let them look past Greenback so I'll pick Loudon as a winner but closer than last years game.

God bless all the teams and fans.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
