o im sorry, i forgot who we were talkin about...he's so good no one can pop HIM in the backfield it had to be a mistake HE made, since gibson county is so terrible and lost by 21

 

 

yea that makes since because everyone said they were going to lose by 21. It clearly looks like he slips, he got hit yes, but its obvious that his feet weren't planted well. That was a good reply though kudos to you

Gibson County shut a couple of people up friday night and still have many more mouths to shut throughout the season. i believe the team will flourish this year because they are very physical. alot of people are talking about hill and arnold (both great players) but on the defensive side of the ball they have some studs. chris williams,dt, a junior, is a monster who squats 530+ and benches over three, and i still just a junior. he doesnt get much praise against these spread teams but he will have acoming out when gc plays trenton and other teams who like to run the ball. also mithcell simpson is quietly leadin the team in tackles in his first year as a starter. and anthony hunt, who would have broken as many tackles on the pick 6 the other night as he wanted, is a two fifty bench, two thirty clean, and 400 squat guy and in the neighborhood of 5'6 165. the team has some big strong physical and suprising fast kids who might wear some teams down throught four quarters of physicality and just hard nosed football.

I agree with you about BIG Chris. I read in the On The Ball magazine the other day that he is 5'11 and 330 lbs! lol. Our team IS young this year and does have some studs on the defensive side of the ball. Our DE's (Kyle Robinson and Barton Lockhart) are so quick off the edges that it makes it tough on the bigger Offensive linemen. Mitchell Simpson has been playing well also. We'll see how good the secondary is this coming week against a passing team in JCS. JCS likes to throw short passes such as swings, slants, and curls so if our LB's play well and our DB's don't play too far off of the ball then I think we have another winnable game.

Dresden is awful. Peabody isn't very good. Humboldt and Westview will probably beat them. But saying that they will be LUCKY to win one more game is wrong.

I'll bet money it was the best game in West TN Friday night. Teams swapped points back and forth in the second half. GC just happened to have the ball last and took advantage of it in the final seconds.

Man i watched this game on Telivision. sayin GC will win no more than one game n that they were lucky to win that game is freadin crazy. they held milan to half the yards camden did.. IF you don't recal they also had mutiple tornovers with penalties on defense inside the redzone... study on the facts before u start postin bub

I am curious, how many yards did the Milan defense hold the Gibson County offense to in this game?

 

Also, isn't it hard to @@@@ up alot of yards when several of your (Milan) scoring drives were on short fields?
