Sure, Alcoa could win, and I for one would not give excuses. Alcoa is fantastic.

And another thing I don't know what private school or schools you are boasting about, but I have seen MBA play twice this year and I know two East Tennessee public schools that would beat them with ease, Maryville and Alcoa!

MBA is eminently beatable - when you don't have to play them.

 

MHS fans don't like shots at their schedule. Likewise, MBA fans find these fictitional, pie-in-the-sky beatdowns rather inane.

 

MBA would beat Maryville and Alcoa with ease. Gosh, that was easy to type. And because it is now in print, I guess it is so.

I don't care if they play MBA or not. I want to see them play Henry County or Hillsboro. I have seen all three play. (Maryville/Alcoa; Hillsboro/Maplewood; and Henry County/Brighton) Maryville will have their hands full with either and I have serious doubts that they can beat either. Henry County may wear down, they have literally not played a second half down with a starter this year. Hillsboro may not have enough size. This will be a great game and one that could actually happen if the teams take care of business.

With every game that passes, Henry County seems to get stronger. It will be hard to scout them if games continue to play out this way because they don't have to run many different plays. Maryville is still the team to beat until someone knocks them off, but I think the Patriots can be the team to do it. Maybe they will be tested in the quarters or semis to gauge how good they really are. Brighton was supposed to put up a fight but lost 54-0.

I have said this a hundred times,its pointless for any of this to go on anyways , even tlaking about playoffs , anything can happen on the field on any given friday night , its about heart and will , not about who has more rushing yards, or more yrd/carry.
