That's GREAT!!! I would hate for the world to end, too!! Hey, if it didn't end when we lost, it won't end!! Whoops, I can't see "we" becuase people might think I am a player or some other poster and I'll get ripped a new one so let me rephrase--when West lost.

I did miss the burning of Gville, though!! Did it make the Morristown version of the New York Times?

I'm not sure if MoTown burned it would make that rag.....at least not the english language version of it.

Well I might as well break the news now since the IMAC season is over....yours truly, the grande dame of coacht is making ready to sell her home in beautiful downtown GreenEville and move with her little 'ol man and big 'ol dog to LA....thats right LOWER ALABAMA!!!!!! pray for me, really.

Lower Alabama Barb? Gee wizzz.....I believe id rather be stuck in Juarez At least you wouldnt suffer as long.

 

It could be worse , Rob....they initially wanted to send us to SW Mississippi then Dis...I mean Au-gusta Ga....I thought Mobile was a step up.

Yeah with half of downtown in ruins and the 09 football season in shambles, looks like a good time to get out.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
