I know Alcoa has some very strong classes coming up but i would like to see some close games every now and then, other than Maryville...I hope AE sticks with the Tornadoes a little bit. I will be happy if Alcoa plays as well next year as this year. Sam Thompson, Chase James and all the others seniors will be "big shoes" to fill. I know Alcoa reloads well and Alcoa has great talent in the under classes but again there are some Great seniors playing this season that Alcoa will miss.

 

That is very true...Tyler Robinson will do that with little difficulty. So will many other upcoming juniors and seniors such as Nathaniel Robinson, Taharin Tyson, Austin Tallant, and many others.

And I say bring it on!!!!! AE has been waiting on them boys from Alcoa... They haven't seen nothing yet, just wait to you come to MLK for the first time since 1999 or 2000... AE is ready!!!

Alcoa is in the middle of an amazing run. They will only get better, they have lots of talent from the 7th grade up. As far as AE...you guys will need to worry about beating the likes of Loudon and CAK, before you tackle Alcoa.

 

I can't speak for CAK, but Loudon will be one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the state next year. Like Alcoa, with so many sophomores starting they will only be better with time. Next years Seniors and Juniors were not touched as a JV unit. Southeast Tennessee will be the site for outstanding high school football over the next several years. Maybe somebody will come up with something to slow Alcoa down.

Scott has big boys as well as Stone... Carter and Grainger, they're ok...

 

But we'll see... Does anyone have any idea when and where this game will take place?

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
