We got {cycled} against Tennessee High in 2006 and 2007,both away games

 

 

Your right, we did. Atleast we know that two of the three non-conference games next year will be home games, so just one trip to the Knoxville area, but two the next year. Two trips to Knoxville in a regular season schedule still isn't bad, considering what we've been traveling over the past classification cycle.

Oh please South has to play Greenville to get 2 the semis thats really soft, and they should have gotten beat last wk if ME doesnt have a total DobynsBennett meltdown in the 4th qt. Davenport is the most overrated player around here by far, has a really weak arm just throws prayers up to KK every time, Crawford was the best overall QB around here, he just never got to play Unicoi or Boone to pad his stats like Davenport. South is really weak against the run thats why i think Greenville might take them, and just wait till you see #32 next year runnin right down your cocky throats.

You are talking about South, always being in the playoffs? I remember about five years ago, they were one of the worst teams around. They was bad in the late 90's and early 00's. I am very proud of them now, but South wasn't always in the playoffs. That is a known fact. However, now you are probably one of the best programs in upper East Tennessee. You have every right to proud of that. In all honesty, DB has been the only powerhouse around consistently for the last 10 to 15 years, and #32 is special for them. Can't wait till next year. I hope it will be a good game.

You sure are digging a deep hole for yourself. You are starting to sound alot like most of the South fans before the 2006 season kicked off. Your tone seems to indicate that you might think South has a better program than DB. Let me remind you that South lost that 2006 game with DB 44-0. A game that South fans were saying was going to be a blow out in their favor. Now that was the choke of the century. Also let me remind you that South has not won a football game against DB in the last 13 tries. So you will get to see #32 and the rest of the Tribe next year up close and in a regular season game. Im sure you will be running your mouth until the game is played, then I figure you'll shelf this screen name and go to one of your others. You are right about one thing, DB does choke in the playoffs almost every year. But what does South have to brag about? Its basketball season for everybody Mo-Ron. You still dodged my question, has South ever beat a team outside of upper east tn., regular season or playoff ?

I know how much you look forward to basketball season,and I can see the jealousy creeping in.DON'T WORRY,you will join us soon enough.Two days?...9 days?,it won't be long and then we will hear " we got cheated"!! Robbed!! The ref was from their home town!! That's a couple of new ones Wildcat,just in case! I do wish you luck after Greeneville ,but I'll have it covered as you did either way!!

I'll answer for Wildcat if you don't mind. My guess is he's too young to remember. Not many wins outside of upper east TN, but a few off the top of my head would be, Knox Powell, Abingdon, Graham, and Bluefield WV.

The Mo-Ron is you chump. You can't even spell basketball. You didn't get beat in the first round because you wasn't playing DB. Your argument would hold a little weight if you were a fan of one of the region 2 schools who have actually won over DB in a real game. But you being a South fan and trying to claim some sort of sepurioty over DB is very funny at best. Sure DB loses in the first round every year, we know it, you know it, everybody knows it. DB wins over South every time they play, we know it, you know it, everybody knows it. Why don't you go pick on a team you have actually beaten in the past 15 years.       I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton

      My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
