Glad you are sick of us. Every week we hear the same tired worn out theme from DA's like you. You will not find a nicer more knowledgeable fan than most Maryville fans. How sick do you think we get listening to the same BS week after week that you spew? Disrespect all you want....but like 99% you will run that mouth all week and disappear after Friday night.

I hope for a safe competitive game and look forward to my first visit to Rhea County stadium. It should be packed and an atmosphere full of excitment. That is why I love highschool football..

Don't judge all of us on the posts of a select few. I think you'll find the majority of Rhea County fans to be fair - competitive but fair. (all except that clevelandblueraider guy who POSES as a Rhea County fan - LOLOL) j/k clevelandblueraider!

im sick of you and the rest of your fans arrogant attitudes...yeah youve one your games, yeah you beat Cleveland, yeah youve won 4 in a row, to be honest, I dont really care. It must be nice to be a Mary-ville fan, but you want to know the truth? I'd rather suit up in my green and gold every Friday night in the fall and yell for a team that may have some 6-5 seasons than be stuck up like many of you...

If we were "stuck up", we wouldn't talk to you. I thought we were having a nice open dialogue about the intricacies of the offensive and defensive personnel on our respective teams. But you have changed the tone of the discussion to how proud you are to wear the various shades of apparel that corresponds with your institutions athletic teams during average seasons. How droll??¦ Not to change the subject, but do you have any fine dining establishments in Rhea County. I am accustomed to the finer dining establishments. I may have my butler prepare some light fare for the journey to the country. We are not too stuffy to think that we can??™t pack the caviar and Dom P?©rignon in the Bentley for a road trip.

I think super just got a little fired up after reading that post from warrior. I suppose you can be arrogant if you can back it up. You won't find much in the way of "fine dining" anywhere near the stadium because it is positioned in the wide open, rural area between Spring City and Dayton. If you want to travel south to Dayton, then go to the Heartland Grill. It's located on the southern end of town. That being said, it's probably 20 minutes out of the way if you're coming in from Sweetwater or Spring City straight to Eagle Stadium.

Maryville fans.

We need to come to Rhea County loud and proud. You can bet Rhea County fans will be loud. I feel like Maryville fans have become complacement. There were a ton of empty seats in the 1st 2 playoff games vs Cleveland and West. That is inexcusable. In our section Me'Pepvol,Rebel78,Rocky and his wife were the only ones making any noise. I talked to some Maryville players at the Greenback/Oneida game and they want to see Maryville fans get loud. These young men deserve our support.

That's funny!!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Talk about fine dining and Dom Perignon...you probably eat at McDonalds, drink Boones Farm or Mad Dog 20/20, and hop in the Ford Escort to go to the games. For goodness sakes...we are talking about East TN, right. Not exactly the most cosmopolitan area in the south. Seems from your tone as if you are acting much more sophisticated than you really are. Probably a pig farmer that eats a healthy meal of Mountain Oysters on special occasions. Serioulsy though....I'm just having a little fun just like you are. I'm sure the fans from both teams are first class and I wish all the players and fans the best!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

If you don't like the MARY-ville thing, then you need to teach your announcer how to pronounce. Thank God, we don't have to hear that this year!

Greg Judkins (sp?) does a fine job as Maryville's announcer. He's gotten more air time over the last 10 years than any other announcer in the state. I bet all of the visiting teams and fans just love it as much as I do when he says "... and seeking their 5th state title in a row..."

disrespectful is telling a bunch of kids who have busted their butts for years that they have no chance of winning.

I don't doubt that RC players have worked really hard, but I'll go ahead and say that RC has virtually no chance Friday night. Maryville is just playing too well right now.

Here's how it will go:

Justin Smith is going to dominate 52 & 77. He's going to match his sack total from last week (3)

Chris Jordan is going to get behind your weak secondary, while Mason Trenda and Zane Winders get underneath it.

After your D has been softened, Thomas Shuler will run past you while Buddy Jones runs through you.

On every offensive play we run your players, coaches & fans will be scared to death that this is the play where Maryville runs the reverse-option-halfback pass-hook & ladder-fumblerooski (that's one play too folks)

In the end our D lets this one get out of hand:

MHS: 42

RCHS: 9

I have seen Maryville play a few times this year, and this Maryville team is not near as good as the past few Maryville teams.

I guess this season has come full circle. In the beginning we weren't as good as we used to be, and I guess we still aren't. Yet, we're once again on the cusp of 13-0.

Ooooooh, jeepers creepers, we're shivering in fear and anticipation. Virtually no chance? Muahahahah, whatever. Why, I'd be willing to bet our "weak secondary" will call in sick this week and just stay home with widdle blankies pulled up under their widdle chins because they're just too frightened to put on their pads and helmets and play big ol' bad Maryville.

And the coaches and fans will be scared, too? Shazam, I think I'll leave my little ones at home - I don't want them frightened beyond repair.

It's idiots like you - and your equally idiotic posts - that cause folks like supereagle to perceive your fan base as egocentric lunatics. But, as I asked of your fans earlier, I will not cause one nimrod like yourself to debase my opinion of Maryville fans as a whole.

(GOLLY GEE, I sure hope our football team doesn't read this really awesome post by OLD rebel...they'll all sheeyut their britches for sure out of fear and trepidation - old reb, you know what that thar big word trepidation means? LOL)

Maryville has evolved into a really good hs team this year. They have gotten better each week and are very well coached. IMO They only have 1 "bigtime" player....Justin Smith. Justin is a candidate for Mr. Football Lineman of the year. He is a dominating defensive lineman. The strength of Maryville is the other 20 or so really good players that play very disciplined, assignment football. Players to watch....QB- Phillip Juhlin-smart QB, good arm, runs well, RB-Thomas Shuler & Buddy Jones-both are hard nosed runners and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Rec-Chris Jordan, Mason Trenda, and Zane Winders- all three very effective...keep an eye on #5. Linemen are very well coached and have protected Juhlin all year.

Def.- Linemen-strong group-motors don't stop running, LB-undersized but fast and love to hit (McCoy, Cox, and Booker), DB-all solid

Very few players play both ways.

i had the misfortune to play a good bit verses smith last season and he was the best DE i played against all year. i felt helpless against him the whole time. he has a really good combination of speed and power and hes super hard to block. as for maryvilles great players they dont need superstars to win. they usually arent the most talented 4a team in the stated theyre just the most complete team. the coaches are geniuses and the kids play together better than any team ive seen. they rarely make mistakes and they love to capitalize on other teams errors. rhea will have to play mistake free ball for 4 quarters and make some really big plays on both sides of the ball to have a shot in this one. im gonnna take maryville 35-14 though. go region 3-4a!
