Kinda odd that these guys didn't even have Livingston as a contender for the AA state title...

Either I have LA way overrated or the Tennessean needs some new sports writers...? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Maybe they figure AE, Fulton, and Dyer all have back the core of their teams(just like LA) and are considering the egg LA laid at the state tourney last year. Other than that, I don't know what the explanation would be.

Well, you are right about that. That was one huge, stinky egg the Wildcats laid... Hope they don't have anymore of those this year.

LA is the 2nd highest rated AA school listed. They do have a very good team, but the best AA ball that I've seen is out west. Bolivar didn't show a thing at the Harpeth playday last weekend and LA beat them pretty handily. I don't think that's indicative of where Bolivar will be later in the season. I don't know who else would come out of that region, maybe one of the Jackson teams.

I really like LA's style of ball and they're very fundamentally sound. I really would like to see them against CPA at full strength. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Tennessean's ratings.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
