On behalf of The Jo Byrns Family, I want to thank everyone who has supported the Red Devils throughout these playoffs. I saw a lot of people from the other Robertson County schools and several from Regions 5 and 6 at our game tonight. I also want to congratulate The McKenzie Rebels on an outstanding season. We feel fortunate to have won this game and our looking foward to playing TC in the Boro!

Victory is so sweet!!! I don't say that to dog McKenzie, I just say that because this feels great! I didn't have anything to do with it but I feel like I just won myself. It's been a long time coming for JB but it's finally here. Going to the Boro baby!!!

 

Start the thread moto with the poll on it ,,,,And your so right that was a great big step for the Devil's and it was so sweet

As someone who has experienced this as a player I am really happy for all of you guys and win or lose just milk this next week for all you can b/c this a a great experience the whole community will never forget. This team has worked their butts off the last few years and have been right at the door; it must feel really good to get through it. I said if you guys made it to the burro I would be there; I will have to leave the school where I am student teaching early to get there on time. If the crew is going to meet anywhere b/4 the game let me know, it would be nice to see everybody. Also congrats to Mckenzie on a great season; that communtiy should be very proud of those young men and good luck in 2A next year.....

      That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)

      Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.

      Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
