Marion County @ Alcoa

It may be a shorter trip, but we know the way by heart. I hope you are on here posting as soon as you have a safe trip back to Marion County following another Alcoa win. You will enjoy the atmosphere, and feel free to come see us in the Boro. It will be along week looking forward to this one.

 

I will be back on here congratulating whoever wins. I have done this all year not gonna stop here. Your right, its like Friday will never get here....Maybe Alcoa can come watch Marion in the Boro if things don't turn out like you hope....lol

We have stood in the paths of Tigers, Dragons, Owls, and Buccaneers. Tornado's don't bother us the least little bit...and by the way, its a shorter trip to the Boro for us.(mileage anyways)

hey pun, the warriors are a good team. you have dogged every team that beat your lions by calling it luck or making excuses. the only thing is the lions only beat bledsoe in region 3. that would mean you guys would have been 5th. dont down them congratulate the run and pull for them this week.

 

they have improved over year no question about that but it is alcoa. and in the boyd game boyd had 6 turnovers and marion only beat them by 1 and that speaks for itself if the lions can play close game and be tied after the 3rd quarter then the warriors have no chance to win but they have had a good winning streak but it comes to an end friday

That's just like marion county ungrateful. I want be saying good (luck to Marion, but.) What I will say is how can a team that has won nothing in years until now think they can get on here and dogg a team that has won the last4 or 5 2a titles in a row. Stars aligned whatever. I believe in our team, who doesn't. These are some of the things Marion faithful are saying. You know as well as I do the luck stops here. This is not Boyd and this is not Tyner you are playing a team that has more talent and just as much determination as Marion does. Marion will not be able to move the ball as a result the defense will be on the field to much. My prediction is Alcoa 38 Marion 7 (late) changed my mind Alcoa 38 Marion 0

 

One side note to Alcoa, #24 for Marion is for real He is undersized, but will run the ball with authority and is real sneaky at the safety position. He will bait the QB in to throwing an interception. Good luck Joe you are the one that has been the leader all year, keep it up.

If Marion where to win then I would definitely pull for them. I just don't see that happening. People want to talk about this being Alcoa weakest team. I look at this team and see a great defense and good offense and great character. Are we as explosive on offense as the last 4 teams. NO. NO. AND NO. However are defense is as good as any of the last 4 if not better. They are giving up less than 6 points a game. You don't need to be explosive on offense if your defense is putting up #'s like that. Not only that, we have much more depth this year. So don't even bother to bring the whistle because it won't be a blowin.
