Guest nwtnsports
TRIVIA QUESTION FOR MILAN FANS(hint) -he played for Milan in 87-89 all state two of those years and he knows volfan5. Who am I? Earnest and John played at Milan from '84 to '87. I think Larry Smith was Class of '88, too. My guess is George Kidd. He played at Milan from '87 to '90. But he was all-state and, last time I remember, living somewhere in East Tennessee.

Rankinated2010
So I dug up some scoring by quarter stats on Milan: MHS - 208 in first, 148 in second, 158 in third, 53 in fourth Opponents - 42 in first, 47 in second, 42 in third, 80 in fourth That makes me think we might have a good idea of how the game is going to go from the first few minutes. Those "opponents" werent averaging 41 pts a game , holding their opponents to 4 pts a game , and going for their 5th straight championship either were they? and did they have Mr Football winners for the past 4 years in a row? Guest nwtnsports
My response to owcoa when he said basically the same thing: I was hoping you would read between the lines. What was meant, but not said, was that Milan will see the best defense, without question, in Alcoa that they've all season this Friday. Milan's offense likes to start strong. So throw those two facts in, and your Alcoa stats and I think the same thing you do - if the Bulldogs don't score early (and often), they're in trouble. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
Bulldog Fan #2
I actually think that this year will be just like the last few vs Goodpasture. I remember downloading the GP vs Peabody game last year and the announcer said that only 40 points had been scored on Peabody all year. Goodpasture had them 42-0 at halftime. Then in the boro, we beat them 35-3 and they couldn't do nothing against our defense. Don't get me wrong, Milan is a very good team, I just think Alcoa is that much better then them. I hope it is a closer game, and I hope Milan can hang with us. Trenton Peabody gave up 264 points before the game with Goodpasture.
AlcoasPaintedBridge
I guess you realize that no body from alcoa is going to respond to your post about FBEmoronus I, I mean Jeff Smith. Really nobody cares about him here. But his kid is a great player.

Your stats are the reason the game isn't played on paper. You guys can't see the forest for the trees but sometimes that comes with sucess. You have to agree your day is coming.......may not be this Friday night although I personally think it will be. You can't win them forever no matter how great the program is and the program is indeed great. You guys fully expect sucess and that is one of the things which helps the team continue to roll. No class wants to be the one that drops the ball. I was surprised to see your QB plays both sides of the ball. How many other players do also? I know I hear about your depth but does he start as a DB? I guess you realize that no body is going to respond to your post about FBEmoronus I, I mean Jeff Smith. Really nobody cares about him here. WOW I would say we have about 4 or 5 Guys that start both ways , Jaron Toney is another outstanding player that starts on both sides of the ball. its always been like that at Alcoa , you might have heard of Randall Cobb , our senior QB last year , now starting QB at Kentucky , he started both ways and ironically was one of the top 100 DB's in the nation( By Unapproved Website) when he graduated , and now is a D1 starting QB. We work well with what we got, how about you guys?
bulldoggfan
u know what they say its not the fall that hurts its that sudden stop at the end i think they will feel that pain this friday night Your stats are the reason the game isn't played on paper. ReitzFan
"To be the man, you have to beat the man"! In 2A, Alcoa IS "The Man". I just don't see them getting beat on Friday. My feelings are that Milan will play Alcoa close in the first half. With that being said, I believe Alcoa will pull away in the second half and Milan will have a long bus ride home late Friday night. I see it as 38-10 Alcoa.
