They will see them Saturday night if both teams win Thursday night. They are the 5 seed and play Hillsboro.

Congrats to all the FHS staff and players on hanging in there and some how making it happen. For the 5th straight year Frankin finishes on top of the district. Not bad to a team with a bad coach, Young who disappears in big games, Haddix who is soft, and Henry who can't handle pressure.

By the way, this group of kids have NOT even played their best basketball yet. Watch out!!!!!!!!!

hahahaha!!!!

Centennial will not come close to beating FHS again, especially after losing Brown and Williams. Carter, Crawford, Jensen and Scales can't handle the pressure . . . just like Friday night. And, if FHS had hit anything in the first half, Centennial would have never been in the game.

Go Rebels!

Well I am back after a long week of baseball. Like anyone really cares. But this week was not great for the Indy Eagles the loss to Ravenwood really stings especially after what transpired Friday night. Better team won. But Ravenwood is playing better than anyone in the district right now. Might be correct. They could upset Brentwood and send them home this week. Indy will rebound and will make a run to the district championship. Keep dreamin. It sets up perfect for the Eagles cause the Rebels will lose to either Hillsboro or Centennial. What a DUMB statement. Even if they do happen to win we will beat them on our home court. Dreaming again. Expect big crowds from the Eagle fans. Dont waste your $5. Look for Carden to carry the team to a district championship. Wakeup already!

My All District Team

C- Teichmann

PF- Kelly (MVP) He means the most to his team

SF- Carden

SG- Watkins

PG- Young

Should be a great game like the past two have been. Will it be a battle of the big men (Teichmann / Haddix)?

Who would u rather be on your team?

Teichman is by far the better player because he can score inside and out. He also has 3 or 4 years of experience and without him Brentwood would be in trouble. Haddix has had a great year and improved greatly, but Franklin can and does play without him. Should be a great game.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
