Patrick McPhail is the senior point guard for Overton along with sophomore Mookie Betts. Both have had good years, but you are probably referring to Betts. He is a special kind of athlete.

Franklin stinks, no one cares. Just go ahead and worry about baseball cause you will get spanked at that as well. I have never seen so much talent wasted like the Franklin squad. They just think everything should be handed to them. They don't want to work for it.

Brentwood plays ravenwood friday and if they win they win 11-AAA becasue of Independence's loss tonight.

Just curious how the Franklin - Overton game played out last night. By now BriceDrew and/or Harrick have given us a game summary. After seeing (from the box score) how Overton handled Hillsboro and now hangs with Franklin - what's going on with those guys?

Franklin jumped out early on Overton like 16-5, then as usual Franklin started subbing and Overton made their little run and played even until the 4th quarter. Overton hit some big threes to catch up but Franklin played some pretty good D down the stretch. Haddix had another big jam but the 2-3 zone Overton ran caused Franklin some trouble. Once again, Franklin lost momentum once the "top guys" went to the bench. However, Franklin seems to always struggle with athletic Overton teams every year.
