Wasnt a game at all CCHS took control early & coast all the way to victoy. I will say this CCHS could have EASILY scored over 100 points in this game, but Coach Evans decided to put his second unit into the game with around 4 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter. The second unit had a huge scoreless drought in the 4th & by the time they started knocking down shots their was around a minute left.

 

So by my understanding the win over JCHS last night gives CCHS the 2nd seed & a bye in the conference tourney right?

As of Monday, Morristown East is 20-5. not 19-6.

they can list their players all they want but the tallest guy that steps on the floor for them is maybe 6'3 they also have another kid that gets limited playing time that is 6'2 it doesnt matter the size they have on the team but what goes on the court and after those two there is noone with any size

Wow, Greeneville dominated East. East made a game of it late (down 18 or 20 and cut it to 4), but Greeneville dominated from the tip. Gardner got outplayed by Short (wasn't even close). This is shaping up to be a great tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the top 5 were in or won the championship. The only team I don't see doing it is Jeff and they have played greeneville tough. Should be a fun week. What are the dates for Big 9 Tourny, I would love to watch both tourny's as much as possible.

It will most likely be tomorrow afternoon before we hear the official tournament schedule and game times, as the regular season conference schedule will conclude tonight.

 

It??™s my understanding that the #8 Volunteer vs. #9 David Crockett play-in game will be played at Dobyns Bennett on Saturday, February 14, game time is currently unknown. From other sources I have pieced together that Science Hill will play the winner of the play-in game on Wednesday, February 18 at 6:00 pm, with Sullivan East playing the #5 seed in the following game. Dobyns Bennett will play the #7 seed at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, with Tennessee High playing the #6 seed in the following game.
