To be the best you have to beat the best!!!!

Especially if they live 20 min down the road! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I have never seen it wrote up why this has happened between 2 great programs.

I understand it's one sided on BC's great coach but really don't understand why?

I would love to see the top D-I school beat the top D-II. I have heard rumors why but never anything in writing.

Does Bradley wrestle any D-II schools?

You know we see all these posts about how BC won't wrestle Baylor. Just curious and this is a question not a sarcastic statement. How often does Baylor send BC an invitation to wrestle?

Lets face it if Bradley and Baylor were to wrestle next year and Bradley won, and then Baylor wrestled McCallie and lost to McCallie, then all the DII supporters would gripe about Bradley not wrestling McCallie. So in the end Bradley would have to wrestle Baylor, McCallie, Father Ryan, CBHS, MBA, etc... Im sure Bradley's coach will continue to make his schedule to help his team win state championships and the DII supporters will continue to complain that he doesn't schedule their team. I doubt Coach Logsdon is losing any sleep over this. I'll bet he is even laughing about all the whinning you DII people do about this topic

So I guess the only way to see these top programs face each other is to go back to the way it was prior to 98.

Did Coach L refuse to wrestle the Baylor/Mc teams prior to the split?

So what would happen if we did away with the split? Would Bradley refuse to go on the mats against a Baylor or McCallie in a State Dual?

This would be like Indy or Brentwood refusing to wrestle Father Ryan. It just seams to be a negative for our sport.

I know Bradley does not need to wrestle any D-II Chatt powers to win D-I but why keep this issue coming up every season?

I looked at Bradley's schedule for this season and they had 9 dual meets with TN teams, all in Region 3 or 4 and none in Div II. Baylor had dual meets with 5 TN DI teams, all region 1-4 plus a grand total of 1 against a DII team. So why should Bradley wrestle all those other DII teams when Baylor won't do that during the regular season? I realize that these are the big dogs and can do as they please, so regular wrestling fans can just settle for watching up and coming teams like Indy, Blackman, WV who "have gun will travel" and take on anybody that will let them in the gym.

Rigger, You are probably right the only way it would happen would be if you were to combine DI and DII and it isn't going to happen.

If you did away with the spilt(it ain't gonna happen) I'm sure they would wrestle in the region or state tournaments. The reason it keeps coming up is the spoiled rich private schools aren't getting their way and they know Logsdon could care less what they think.

Good stuff, Killa33, keep it coming..a little about yourself, perhaps, so we know where you are coming from..probably a good wrestler defending your turf? A coach maybe ? The truth shall set you free...

Dear Steve,

We would really really like to wrestle your team - your place, ours, Maclellan, McKenzie - your pick.

Your friend,

Jim

P.S. I don't believe any of that stuff about you being scared.

P.S.S I promise not to recruit any of your boys.

Navy, you want to be set free? NAME:_________________________.

MWR, telling Logsdon to "man up"? Really? Want his address?

for the less intelligent or spin-masters: Obviously, Logsdon does the scheduling, so the remark was aimed directly at him personally. The term "man up" implies that he is less than manly, thus womanly? Or just scared and cowardly? Really? You want to be set free, too? NAME:__________________ Personally, I don't, but I'm not the one trying to antagonize Killer or being anonymously disrespectful to an established, long time Coach who has loved, promoted and coached our sport for his entire adult life. How brave are you, really? You wanna "man up"?
