Let's get it back to how TSSAA use to do it. Lets see who the best wrestler really is; other than just talk about and rejoin Div I and Div II for the the Traditional State Tournament. Let the state duals stay seperated. But let there be 14 people in the state of Tennessee to be able to say they are the true state champion. Instead of letting all of the nay sayers say DI is better; no DII is better. Let's find out in real life who the best is.

There are several things that need to happen with D1 schools VS. D2 schools like Bradley v. Baylor that is a match that has needed to happen for a long while and Most Def. i would love and i know everyone else would love to see D1 State Champs against D2 State Champs

MWR...your purple is showing. Cash is the best wrestler in the state this year (bar none) just like Mang was in 2007-2008. If you don't believe, let's watch and see what the college recruiters say. I like Marchetti, great kid and wrestler, but Cash won the match this year at the Father Ryan Invitiational. Not to mention, Cash pinned TJ Duncan at the duals and beat Austell. How many state champions does he have to beat before you will give some respect? Cash will end up NCAA DI and has the potential to be another AA in the future.

(SIGH), You, like many others seem to forget that Marchetti also beat Cash at McCallie, so the series was split. I'm not saying Cash isn't a great wrestler, however I'm not going to say he is the BEST wrestler in our entire state! I just like the way Ridenour wrestles, I don't know call me crazy, but he's pretty good. If I want to pick him over cash... then I will--just like you can pick whoever you'd like.

It is my hope that he (cash) will go on to wrestle at the ncaa level and also achieve AA status, which would further prove that the JV division, as BCB likes to call it, is the most skilled division in our state.

How can you sit there and say D2 is more skilled than D1 there is just no way i wish there would be a state Champions tournament so D1 could finally shut up these D2 guys.

Ghouse we kid cause we love. Hoop star is what little wants to be, although has a mighty fine forehand,

On that last part just allow me to let out one big sigh... just imagine how much fun it would be to be able to continue your strategy meetings all summer... heck even your shorts would make more sense then!

Trust me etown if that hypothetical tournament happened you would better hope it would start next year because the D-II finalists would win with some wiggle room this year.

Secondly it is my opinion that Cash is a great wrestler and should experience success at the next level if he chooses to compete there, but as good as he is, he is not in the top 3 best wrestlers this year in TN. The top 3 in order are:

1. Zach Watson

2. Cameron Croy

3. Patrick Marchetti

By share do you mean 4% or 70%. I could give you 5 pretty good example on why I think the Mans Division is better, but I swore that I would not get involved in a peeing contest when I am clearly the best pee-er.

Are only the top three good wrestlers in your Div? I would think that credit should be given to all who placed, cause I know of one JV rassler who got a 4th and is proud of his accomplishment.

GHouse an EXPERT?????????

Hey Hamm, why don't you tell the board who happen to win the 160 units of fun on the State finals Pick'em board.

Mr. bcb, I think that your 4% or 70% would vary by the same amount as you go to each weight class through both Divisions. I've got some examples if you wan't to start peeing. IMHO the 112 weight class was the most solid from top to bottom in D1 but you know this because we've spoke on it. The heavy weights in D1 were very tuff also, 71,89,215,HWY. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I find it hard to make a state top 3 list without Jake Young on it. Not to take anything away from the three gentlemen you have named but Jake in my opinion is deserving of consideration for any of the 3 positions.

Hocky, are you skipping class today?

If you ever got the chance to watch Mr Young go, then you would know, what I know.

The only points Proctor would score would be if escape points. He would not be able to take Marchetti down. I also think Ridenour would beat Cash.

Ridenour wouldn't beat Justin Cash if you gave him 2 pt takedown before the match even started.

Many of the picks are based on State Championship titles won last week. However, on any given day in most of the weight classes, either Division, the number 1 and 2 guy could come out on top.

Ridenour beat Sinsheimer 8-1. Marchetti Teched Sinsheimer, I would put my money on Cash over Ridenour any day of the week.

???? So you just contradicted yourself. If anyone could come out on top at any given day, then doesn't mean Ridenour could beat cash??????
