Stokomo
when you can walk the walk, you have earned your right to talk the talk You never earn the right to talk down to anyone. And winners don't have to talk, their game does it for them. A bragger will always end up lonely. Just ask T.O., Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and the likes there-of. There was one kid who played on my AAU teams years ago that I will not name due to being a kid then, but he was probably the most talented PG to ever grace the hardwood in the state of TN. His attitude and the fact that he couldn't keep his mouth shut caused him to be isolated. He helped Science Hill win two State Titles and thought his you-know-what didn't stink, until adulthood smacked him in the face and found out that after those cubic walls of high school, noone gives a care what you did in the past. They say 1 is the loneliest number that you have, and that is true when you walk the walk and have stink in your talk. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
sportsfan07
The only 2 teams that have more talent than This years Bearden team in the last 7 or 8 years is 06 Hamilton team that went undefeated and the most talented is by far Memphis Mitchell. Thad young (G TECH THEN NBA) Brandon Powell(FLORIDA) and 4 other d1 signees. Bearden has 5 legit d1 players. and there bench is really really good

HOOPS09
whoa whoa whoa!! lack of PG?! u obviously havnt seen bearden really play then b/c the 5'8 PG they have is very talented!! he kind of reminds me of the PG Fulton had last year or the PG Liberty had the 2 years before that. Come on man you gotta give that guy a lil more respect than that! you are right he does have alot of talent, but his youth shows on the court against good opponents, i hope they win the gold ball, but the pg is an issue. i have watched at least 6 or 8 of their games. the other players help hide the inexperience. it is like a few years ago when t white was the pg when he was like a freshman and they had other great players around him, but he was to young to get the job done. then when he was a senior the posts were to young. good luck to bearden
1hoopsfan
bearden beats a sorry motown team by 40+! No need to talk bad about Morristown East. They did make it to substate (the sweet 16). They had a great year and Bearden beat a lot of teams by 40 this year.
noonesfool
Will this be Beardens first state title in BB? (we haven't played a game yet at states so this question is only for the Beardan fans)

In 1990, Science Hill went 37-1, winning the State Title, & only losing to Oak Hill that year (should have won that game too). They finished ranked #2 behind #1 Oak Hill. I'm not sure but the way some Bearden fans brag on here, we all would know if Bearden was ranked anywhere near the top 10. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

For me in college ball right now and when i played high school i never started running my mouth, but if one person said somethin to me im gonna strive off that and everytime i score, lock you down, or anything your gonna hear my mouth the rest of the game and its gonna make you sick cuz i will tear you apart... could be the same story for bearden never know. lol

Who is your team, where are they ranked in the nation...where are they ranked in the state for that matter? FYI, the coach of that Science Hill team was George Pitts....he must have learned his excellent coaching skills at his prior schoool before going to Science Hill...he coached at BEARDEN!!! basketball2223
What have they earned? nothing at all you bonehead well besides they are the number 1 team in the state top 30 or 40 in the nation and not lost a game in the state of tennessee only losing 2 games the whole year playing the number 1 team in the country to free throws and in my opinion when i attended that game they could have won it... then beating most of theyre opponents this year by a 30 40 point margin... capping that off with a district, region championship, plus a state tournament appearence that they have a good chance of winning i guess nothing at all.
