blackhawkdown
Believe RunAndGun is correct. Same story I have heard. TSSAA has already sent discplinary letter. Does RunAndGun know the TSSAA decision? If so, why not released?
wiltthestilt
WOW!!! The things that are said on this board like they are facts are unbelievable. These are the facts. His parents did move here but they lived over 20 miles from Grace. He had played in a state association in florida before moving here. The rule is if he played for another state association prior to moving here he would have to live within 20 miles of the school so it was a violation. Grace was not aware of this rule (which they should have been) and when they found out they self reported it to the TSSAA. What action the TSSAA will take I dont know but I am sure something will be done. He was from Florida but never played for pridemore. It was a mistake and Grace SELF reported it. If they were trying to intentionally break the rules as has been suggested I dont think they would have self reported it. Thats the truth you can choose to believe it or not. yes WOW, this insident was reported to the administration before the state tourn, the real loser in this is coach K and the kids from rockwood,GCA should have baled out like responsible people and let the rightful team go,Im sure I'm wrong about this also...... It's always easy to say what someone should have done after it has already been determined that their actions were not appropriate. The fact of the matter is that no one really knows how they would've reacted to this situation. They were caught between a rock and a hard place because they wanted to do what was right for the players that had worked so hard to make it to that point and report the violation to TSSAA...not an easy position to be in. Most people would've done the same thing.

I really think you should get a better source for your information because yes you are wrong about this also. Grace found out about this violation more than two weeks after the state tourn. It was discovered while speaking to TSSAA about about an unrelated issue and then was IMMEDIATLEY reported. If grace would have discovered it before like you have said it would have been reported then and the player would not have been able to compete. Again those are the facts you can choose to believe them or not but please make sure you check your info before posting out of hate.
LebronJamesistheman
But the story still remains that this job is frighting coaches from applying. Ive talked to many coaches and while the job would be good in a couple of years there are so many questions that would need to be answered about the program and job security is HUGE! DyronNix
Who cares about other teams? As a true competitor I would want to beat the best, and if the other team cheated then I would want to beat them even more. Its not like we are talking about paying a kid to play, this is a kid that wanted to play for a coach. He is just a kid, and they should of let him play. If anything, Grace did the other teams they played before state a favor. It kept them from spending a lot of money to go to the Boro and get dog stomped. blackhawkdown
The Soul Glo is clouding Dyron's thought process (just wanted to play for a coach?).
DyronNix
Sorry I was in a hurry. I meant to just say he was a kid that just wanted to play basketball.
Cookevegas3
Prep extra released the story that they must forfiet all wins during the time the player played during the second semester and pay back some money and fined. That really stinks for the teams the competed against. Now we will never know how it would have played out it is was done right!!!
