Just received my daughters schedule for 2009 at Riverdale

8/6 BGA **

8/11 Brentwood **

8/13 Independence **

8/17 Hendersonville **

8/25 Soddy Daisy (H) 5pm

8/27 Smyrna (A) 5pm

9/1 Ravenwood (A) 7pm

9/3 Franklin (H) 7pm

9/8 Baylor (A) 6pm

9/10 Lavergne (H) 7pm

9/15 Oakland (H) 7pm

9/22 Blackman (H) 7pm

9/24 Hillsboro (H) 5pm

9/29 Station Camp (A) 4pm

10/1 Wilson Central (H) 7pm

10/6 Columbia (A) 6pm

10/8 Tullahoma (A) 7pm

10/13 Siegel (A) 7pm

9/17-9/19 McGavock Tournament

With Warren and White Counties leaving and being replaced by Lavergne and Wilson Central, 7AAA became an even tougher district than before. This will also be Riverdales most loaded schedule in my daughters 4 years at school. The teams on their schedule had a combined record of 206-100-32 in 2008, with six of them making the state tournament in their respective divisions. We lost 4 seniors including Becca Smith to UTC, but should have enough young talent to be a force again this year. I can't wait

Mr300bowl that challenging schedule will help Riverdale. I always thought it's what helped Siegel in the play off run over the last 4 years. Siegel may have lost some games during the season but it made them a better team at the end.

7aaa should be a more competitive district with Smyrna in the mix and Blackman and Oakland improving. Siegel has some big shoes to fill with their 5 seniors leaving but they still have lots of talent on the team.

Good luck next season

I'll be spending my 2009 fall weekends in Chattanooga watching UTC. It will be fun to see Hayley and Becca playing together.

Mr300 it's nice to see that Riverdale and Soddy have kept there regular season match going. They have been some intense games over the last couple of years. And I must admit Riverdale has always had gracious fans. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Thanks BR, good luck to Hayley and the rest at UTC this year. Fortunately the drive to Chattanooga isn't that bad.

I think these are for football primarily.

From the schedule I received we no longer play Cookeville, Lebanon, White Co, and Warren County. I believe that Smyrna, LaVergne and Wilson Central along with the four Murfreesboro schools will comprise 7AAA for now.

No I dont think thats quite right. I'm pretty sure it applies to Girls Soccer too. Wilson Central and Lebanon are in District 9 with Hendersonville and Beech. Cookville, White Co. and Warren Co. join District 6 and Smyrna and La Verne join District 8 with Siegel, Blackman and Oakland.

That would fit the 09 Riverdale schedule you put up. Can anybody confirm this?
