7-AAA and 8-AAA District Tournaments - the new Sunnier Version!

WRT the comment "I didn't see this first hand but my buddy was at the concession stand between those games and said a lady brought back a chicken sandwhich with blood visibly running out of it so.. yea .......... That sounds tacky all things considered."

 

That's kinda impossible folks - the chicken filets we use are pre-cooked flash-frozen - they only are heated up on the grill - so not sure how this could happen.

 

... at any rate it was nice to get some extra monies from concessions but since we had closed up for the year, multiple trips daily across both days was an inconvenience to all!

 

... and props to Coffee County - they are swinging some great bats and pitching to go with it - they are definitely HOT at the right time! Hard to believe they shut down Columbia the way they did 2x - but I saw both games! Best of luck in the 8-AAA final and Regional!

 

Trust me I was standing there beside the lady and talking with her and she showed me and it was bad. When I ordered they had no HB, no pizza, no chicken and no hot dogs. Just looked like they were not ready for the crowd. Our softball program bought a large George Forman grill and it cooks a lot quicker. I know no one in the Tullahoma program wanted it to happen but it did and I know they'll do better next time. Thanks to everyone in Tullahoma for stepping up and hosting and doing the best they could with no time to prepare.

Both fields are tarped. Depends on which way that big orange and yellow blob is going to go. if it goes east we might be ok - we may have to start a little later to get some squeegee work done - if it goes north-east we are taking the day off....

Update Just spoke with Coach Whitlock and for now we are ON - centerfield is actually in pretty good shape and hopefully by game time we can get left and right field in the same shape /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

6-1 Lawrence...Clay Brown with a 3-run bomb..looks to be a good game..Purcell back on the mound after starting monday..lincoln has had bases loaded twice

Lebanon eliminated Oakland 5-1. Chase Hudson went the distance for the Blue Devils to get the win, escaping a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the 7th. Helped his own cause with four RBI.
