davidlimbaugh
Blackman won 9-4 Lawrence Co - Lincoln Co final? Lincoln County leads Lawrence County 9-4 in the top of the sixth, Law Co at bat. Coacht - Got a Final?
pedo_29
Blackman won 9-4 Lawrence Co - Lincoln Co final? Coacht - Got a Final? I heard Lincoln County 12 Lawrence County 4. If that's true, the same teams will play again tomorrow for a trip to the region and a game with Coffee County for the District title. Weather could start tossing a wrench into those plans again, though.
binns37388
Congratulations to Coffee Co for making the Region. I think Chase Jones and his staff are underated for the job they do.

Jody72
It's great that everyone has been able to get this far. DJ and I were talking last week how based on the forecast 8-AAA may not be finished by the deadline. I like the two site bracket, that's something that should be considered every year. Good luck to Coffee and whom ever wins between Lincoln & Lawrence.

southpaw
Riverdale beat Oakland 7-2. Oakland plays Lebanon tomorrow at 4PM at Riverdale. Riverdale gets the winner at 6:30. David: I see the rain is moving out and it's sunny in West Tennessee. You know the field at Riverdale - what are the prospects for playing games this afternoon? THSBBDad
WRT the comment "I didn't see this first hand but my buddy was at the concession stand between those games and said a lady brought back a chicken sandwhich with blood visibly running out of it so.. yea .......... That sounds tacky all things considered." That's kinda impossible folks - the chicken filets we use are pre-cooked flash-frozen - they only are heated up on the grill - so not sure how this could happen. ... at any rate it was nice to get some extra monies from concessions but since we had closed up for the year, multiple trips daily across both days was an inconvenience to all! ... and props to Coffee County - they are swinging some great bats and pitching to go with it - they are definitely HOT at the right time! Hard to believe they shut down Columbia the way they did 2x - but I saw both games! Best of luck in the 8-AAA final and Regional!
davidlimbaugh
David: I see the rain is moving out and it's sunny in West Tennessee. You know the field at Riverdale - what are the prospects for playing games this afternoon? Both fields are tarped. Depends on which way that big orange and yellow blob is going to go. if it goes east we might be ok - we may have to start a little later to get some squeegee work done - if it goes north-east we are taking the day off.... http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/spor...r_topnav_sports Update Just spoke with Coach Whitlock and for now we are ON - centerfield is actually in pretty good shape and hopefully by game time we can get left and right field in the same shape /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
nicholas233
Not sure if they will get the Lincoln/Lawrence game but it should be an amazing game. Both are down on pitching I would assume but tons of seniors on the field for both teams. This is it for one set of seniors. Who will step up? It should be a high scoring game with the way both teams hit and lack of pitching after 3 games for both. Good luck to both and to the seniors-leave it on the field. Any at bat could be your last or any ground ball could be your last to field.
