Carter Watson on Sunbelt team for 2009 - he wasn't even Siegels best pitcher let alone the best in district 7AAA. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Josh Lee, Chris Marconcini and Nathan Forrest - GO OUTLAWS!

There are some deserving players on there and there are some who are not. I think the #1 criteria is your high school coach has to be very active in the TBCA. And FWIW, I dont have a son eligible to play on a Sunbelt team so there...

straight from the tbca site:

How To Become A Player on Team Tennessee

1. To become a player on Team Tennessee your high school head coach must be a member of the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association.

2. You must be a junior, sophomore, or freshman, and your coach or any coach affiliated with the TBCA, may nominate you for Team Tennessee. Coaches nominating a player should consider the player's desire to

represent his state as well as his team-oriented attitude, ability, and performance throughout the year.

3. The coaching staff that has been selected to coach the squad will normally be in place for a two year period. This staff will accept all nominations, and based on the evaluations and opinions of both the staff and other TBCA coaches (including college coaches), a limited number of players will be invited.
