Congrats to all these young ladies on the all conference and all tournament teams. runfast would you happen to know what grade all these fine basketball players are in? just wondering what the conference will look like next year.

I know for sure the following girls are seniors: West-Hall, Goins, Fanney, and May (Smith is a jr. and Jones a soph.) East-Blaylock and Orrick,(Hensley a soph.) Cocke Co-Depew and Buda, Jeff co.-Nelson, (Miller is a jr.) Seymour--Cowan

Seymour- Brown is a JR

South Doyle- Woodfin is a JR (I think the top returning player)

Cherokee- Ryans is a JR

Cocke County- Sprouse is a JR

Sevier County- Pippin is a SO

Anyone have any upset predictions for tonight? While I would love an IMAC sweep, reality says that is incredibely unlikely....

 

I am going with the seeds, although I think the toughest home test will be in Dumplin Valley.

IMO the only one remotely possible is Mo East over over Science Hill. Science Hill is probably too fast though.

 

I think THS will run Sevier County out of the gym.

 

DB has a strong inside game which may give Jeff County some problems.

I know it is a rivalry game, but I don't think Johnny G lets his girls take East lightly. East might have shown them all their tricks in the District semi....West by 15.

 

I think the TN High / Jeff County matchup is very intrigueing. Can Jeff County value the ball like it did Friday night? Only committing 2 turnovers will win you a lot of games. I don't know a thing about TN high, except they appear to be on a hot streak. Too close to call, IMO.

Jeff County goes down, MoWest moves on despite a very hard fought battle against a big Maryville team. It was very physical with a lot of hard fouls. Taylor goes down in the 3rd with an ankle but West maintains. Good game by Kelley and Allison! Megan and Shelby are a deadly duo and Sidney is giving all she's got. Way to go West! We waited a long time for this!!!!
