Hey Terdmite,

All your little CC buddies have left you here to do all the talking for Chicken County this year. Said they don't wanna play my game. :D Said they are done with TC. :D Bock Bock Chicken Chicken :D Can that "high powered" offense outscore MC? If ya'll boys wanna really see a high powered offense, just come on down to TC, watch them Jackets steamroll. That loss at Mayfield meant nothing. The refs sucked and anyone that was actually at the game(Twan) saw it. The Jackets are back on track again, and are poised for ANOTHER GOLD BALL. Can Chicken County say the same? :D

Na, if ya really wanna see a high powered offense and defense, come on up to Blount county, and watch the best. You can take your pick either Alcoa or Maryville. Alcoa has rolled up points on some of the best teams in the top classes. Bell Co. 4A state champ of KY, Maryville, and only scored 27 against Fulton, but thats more than what most can say.

27 other threads on here where you can go and brag on these 2 teams and you gotta come here? Most of us know about these 2 teams and really get tired of hearing it!

The venue was changed Tuesday of last week. It wasn't homecoming and was a big district game. Probably just have to settle for the Hole this week. Measures will be taken to aide in the drying of the surface of the field beginning tomorrow. Just hope the forecasted rain stays away and the track can be prepared for the game and festivities!!

GO BIG OWLS!!!!!

Right now that's not looking so good. Forecast on Ch. 5 tonite has 60% chance of rain for Fri.

Not specific if Fri. nite or when. Of course, forecasts are like football polls...not reliable.

We'll all just have to keep our fingers crossed & see what happens. Frankly, I'm sick of rain...

enough already. :D

Yeah, Grunt, 40% chance of storms is the hourly forecast for our zip code up until gametime. The chances of remaining completely dry till then are not very good. Still hoping it somehow finds its way around us. Macon County will bring a good crowd regardless. Say what you will about the way they do it, they support their kids!

Smith County just needs to make sure they can hang on to the ball...11 fumbles against Westmoreland by my count. Another game like that, and Homecoming is sure to be spoiled. Make sure to thank Tennessee Tech for letting you use the field last week, your best bet may be to do it again.

No need, two choppers coming in today to help dry the field.
