Slick Rick Says, Cloudland is probably not a good team but they are much better than the Cosby Muffins. Cosby is not a good team if they can barely beat Chuckey Doak. Cloudland will beat Cosby easily in this one. Will Slick Pujo beat at Hampton of Cloudland game?

Hampton plays one of the weakest teams in the state, should be over about as soon as it starts. I'm not going to the Cloudland game. The one I'd like to see is the Trousdale ,Friendship game. Don't really know what I'll do .

Looks like a lack of confidence on both fronts. Maybe its just the calm before the storm.

Not a lack of confidence here, just no need to put any bulletin board material on here that may get the Landers even more fired up, I believe the game will be a tightly contested slugfest as it is, so theres no sense in giving them anything that may make them play harder than I think they are going to play any way. I'm sure both teams will have a good plan in place and we'll just have to wait and see where the chips fall in a couple days. :popcorneater:

This should be a great game, it always is. I would say if Cosby is as motivated and has a crowd backing them like they did in the 2nd half last week they have a chance..but without that motivation and pride about themselves it could be bad for them. So im just gonna give it to Cosby score just depends on which type of team shows up for both of them..hopefully both will bring the best and it be a pretty good game, but if Cosby takes it big that would be nice too.

Well, its been a busy week for old King between killing deer and trying to dig taters before it rains again. I have to agree with Bigblue on keeping the chatter quiet. I definitely learned the hard way that you don't give Cosby bulletin board material. :ugeek: Good luck to everyone tomorrow night and hope the Highlanders bring one home.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
