Grundy will be missing Coach Swafford this friday night like they have all season.

 

 

As for the playing faith, Hubert scheduled as weak as he could to get some wins, he was making sure he didn't have to go 1-9 again. Reel can thank hubbie for that one :thumb: I just hope we don't run into a stem winder in the first round of the playoffs with our weak schedule, we haven't played but 1 decent team this season & that was dunlap. We may be in for a culture shock if we draw a rough Smith Co. or someone in the first round.......

I have watched both teams play if grundy can stop the bledsoe co. running back this might be a close game but if they dont if could be along night to be a yellow jackets fan. This should be a good game to watch, dont see a blow out.Sorry bledsoe Grundy might shock you. I dont see the boys in blue playing grundy as hard as you guys played us.

Bledsoe County finally has a big year and boy they get cocky and arrogant. Jasper stinks it up and Opie is still cocky and arrogant. Have you jumped on board with a winner? Don't blame the new staff for our screwed up schedule, that was Swaffords doing. This game has alot riding on it. The boys in purple and gold will be ready. We are all riding buses to the game and driving Bledsoe's cars home. Grundy may even steal a win while they are there.

i have not seen any of the regular posters from Bledsoe County on here being cocky or arrogant....all of us here in Bledsoe are proud of our team, but know that we have not played the tough schedule alot of other teams in the state have......but we are not the only team that have scheduled weaker teams.....our program needed something to get everyone in the county on the same page again....backing WARRIOR FOOTBALL....and this seems to have done it.......the young men are playing hard for Coach Reel and he has them playing as a TEAM......so yea, PROUD TO BE A WARRIOR AGAIN....but not cocky or arrogant..............GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!

Not blaming the current staff for the cupcake schedule. I would blame that staff for blowing a 14 point 2nd half lead at stone and for being in the shotgun inside their own 5. Can you say saftey. 29 unanswered points when you have the game in control. You got some tuff kids up there not smart coaches. My point is for the first time in two months some Grundy people have been on all happy because they beat sombody and the last two teams have one win between them. Bledsoe beat Sequatchie who have you beat?

Marion 3 losses SP by 12, Seq by7, Signal by 15.

Grundy 4 losses SP by 41, Seq by 23, Marion by 20, Stone by 15. Should have beat stone.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
