12yr.oldchamps
this is one game not to miss. This should be 7 pts. either way. Milan has the edge on D even with the loss of Coleman and Wise. Milan still has the best LB in the state. Two of the best coaches around makes it even more interesting especially with Pratt being from Milan. Milan by

BullDawgGirl03
Well I know that I sure am excited about this game! It's always been a great West Tennessee powerhouse showdown when these two teams meet.....and Friday night will only prove to be the same thing. Based on score to score ratio.....I gotta go with my Bulldawgs! They are awesome right now! I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. Based on the fact that Crockett Co beat Dyersburg 21-14 and Milan beat D-burg 35-7.....that shows me that statistically, Milan should win! Now we all know Crockett Co. will bring their 'A' game...(I'd expect NO less)....so it'll be a battle def. Milan's depth will help them greatly......Their 2nd string players have gotten quite alot of field time this year.....I believe they've played half a ballgame just about every game! So.....I predict Milan 28 - Crockett Co. 10 I wouldnt go by comparing scores,,DHS was playing much better when playing CC than when they played Milan .. What about the JCS scores: Milan beat them 24-14 while Crockett pulled out a 34-7 win. I was looking at games more recently played.....those being CC and Ripley. JCS was week 0....Milan was at about 70% because of all the injuries. I know anything can happen....I still just believe in the 4th Milan's strength will pull ahead. Hope for a good and safe game! Go Dawgs!!

Also, the Milan Dyersburg game was 14-7 with 4 minutes to play in the third quarter. Milan did break a couple of long plays and then added one in the final minute when they could have been taking a knee.
thedawg44
past opponents don't mean diddly squat. it's who shows up to play the best football. ithink milan should win by 2 scores or more because they have a better defense and have about 5 more playmakers on offense than does CC. but when you factor in home field advantage and it's probaly gonna be raining, then CC will keep it close and the dawgs will win by 7. swingjuice
I've posted it before and I think it's a very important factor, and that is that Milan's big game experience will give them an edge. I have a question for the Crockett County fans, how is your kicking game, I have not heard much about it? Also what does everyone think a wet and soggy field, with heavy rain, will mean in this ball game. Good luck to all players, may it be an injury free game. Milan 23 Crockett County 14 Low scoring because of the conditions!!!!
cmeister
Crockett Co. has one of the most dependable kickers in Class AA. Senior Jose Dimas is 43-44 on extra point attempts and 3-4 on field goal tries, long of 39 yards. It's no secret that both teams like to run the football. 78 percent of Milan's offensive plays this year have been rushing, compared to 87 percent for the Cavaliers. Interestingly, the two quarterbacks have nearly identical completion rates (Ryan 60.6, Speaker 59.6) though Ryan has about 40 more attempts. On a wet field, lots of importance goes to what happens between the tackles.
Ratherberacin
Crocketts kicking is decent! Nice kick offs , fairly good punting and a field go kicker who has greatly improved an can hit a fairly long one if needed!!
swingjuice
Milan's kicker, Moody, kicked a 47 yarder earlier in the year and regularly practices from 50+. Has about 75% touchbacks this year.
swingjuice
Moody also does the punting, has a long of 71, and a averages around 45-57 yds.
