They have played two similar teams in Coalfield and Midway this year. Both of them handled each opponent. TP has played a harder schedule to prepare them for this game.

But, I think this one will be close, decided by 7 points or less. I think OS wins regardless of playing on the road. As a matter of fact, they will be more focused because of it rather than excited about finally getting in after several bad seasons!!

GO BOBCATS!! Go get what is yours!

I figured this would be the matchup. By the way, this is not the first time that these two teams have met. We have played them several times.

I'm kinda crossed on this one......OS is a Roane County team.....TP is a district 3 team.....so.......OS only played 3 teams this season with 5 or more wins and lost 2 of the 3.......TP lost to a 10-0 team......a 9-1 team......and a 7-3 team....2 of which were district 3 teams.....district 3 is tougher that district 4.......TP by 2 TD's

OK cookevegas got your last post on the other thread and it occurs to me that the only thing we seem to agree on is the fact that we are both bobcat fans!!! however just to let you know that this matter does not need to be swept under the rug ,only revisited at the proper time, cause after listening to the live broadcast on Sat. morning there is still alot of shall we say "untruths" being circulated about this infraction. When the time is right we will come back to this.... for now all focus needs to be on our boys going down to the plains and coming home with a win!!! We have a very good chance of going far in the playoffs and with the play from our boys of late this seems very attainable!!! GO CATS!!! Good Luck !!!

This is probably the best and most even matchup of all the Roane County teams. Tellico Plains is definitely no push-over. Both teams better be ready to play! Tellico has the advantage being at home. I have heard that all their loses have been on the road, but maybe I am wrong. I have also heard the food is awesome there. O.S. has got to play their best football! Good Luck! Win for Roane County!

Yeah nobody eat before you got the game and eat at the Pork Palace, :thumb: it is on the visitors side. Great food and great price. I ate there this weekend when I got to go home.

Kim, Deana and Pat and the rest of the crew over there do a great job. Of course I am a homer so I of course I would say that.

On to the game. I think it will be a tough and competitive game. I played in the last game that TP and OS played in the playoffs, we played each other the first game of the regular season and again in the 2nd round of the playoffs. (I actually have the film from the playoff game.)

O'Dell was rested and could have played if needed, from what I know.

Good luck to both teams and hopefully both teams will be healthy, but the Bears win and move on by a TD.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
