Let me just give kudos to East TN fans. For the most part, you guys talk about the positive side of the game and stray from the negative. Something that is hard to get around West TN. Anyways....

One more question: who will be TN High toughest challenge on their way to Cookeville?

Hopefully, they will treat every opponent from here on out as their toughest test to date.

I agree 1000000%. There is not a single opponent at this point in the season that can be overlooked. Our team overlooked Bartlett last Friday, and it cost them dearly. Went from a probable 3 seed to getting in with a wild card and being the 8 seed. Good luck to both teams, but I think I will go with Tennessee High in this one. I think they have an outstanding team and will be too much for Seymour. BTW, is there anywhere online I can check out this castle? Sounds like a pretty cool place.

Stone Castle is a local landmark. Its always a big game when teams play there. Be interesting to see what happens even next year if the games follow the same class schedule. Lots of seniors saying adios at the end of this season for TN high, probably won't have much talent next year. Good luck to Seymour. Look past the cockiness of TN high and play the game. Lots of teams lose by intimidation, not by lack of talent.

Come on now ..I know there are some eagle fans out there tell us a little about your team.

I know you have very good football tradition.

They will need to bring back Scott Galyon for this one. Enjoy your visit to the castle Eagles. Take your souvenir pictures pre-game. You won't feel like pictures afterwards.

Crawdad......I think the Eagles are a little better than what you think. I saw them go toe to toe with #2 Sevier County and if their offense ever gets their wheels greased before Friday they will give you all you can handle. Now I'm sure the boys have been enjoying those cute pics of your stadium up on your website, and it is going to be different playing in an enclosed environment. When the ball is snapped it all boils down to flesh on flesh. One thing I have noticed about this Seymour team, none of the "Big Boys" have physically pushed them around this Fall. Now I'm not from Seymour, but I've got a little nephew that I'm a bit partial too. Oops....I said "little", that ain't right! Execution will be the key for the Eagles......can they consistantly execute in this ball game? Tennessee High has a nice house to play in, call it a Castle or whatever you like, but the game is still decided on grass! if this is it.....do what I always do.......HAVE SOME FUN, BOYS!

I think Crawdad is a South fan. But the Vikings have taken every opponent seriously this season. If they take Seymour seriously, I see them winning.

Athletes, they stick 9 in a blitz to shut down the run and force the pass. Quick on offense with a huge set of lineman...not fast on the line but strong. The game is won on D against them Couch. I don't see them getting their offense going but if you shut it down...well that will be that. I think they have a team that the wing t hurts...they need to run something more traditional or spread it out.

I will be surprised if there is a large amount of scoring done from either team. Seymour will play hard. Scott Galyon will be wearing #93 to complete his last year of eligibility, but will only play defense. A suspended SEC crew will be calling the game. Rumored that the Eagles will be wearing all black shoes.

I would be surprised if the Vikings didn't score 28 or more points in this game. The Vikings have ran into to defenses that did a decent job of controling the running game, but the Vikes still scored 38 and 51 points in both of those contests. If it's close, I would probably see it being a shootout.

Seymour is a very, very tough team. IMHO without a doubt Seymour is the best 4-6 team in the state. They deserve very serious respect. :roflol:

If respect is given by THS here is what will happen.

Smith #66 (nose tackle) will see fewer tackles this game than all season because THS's center and guards will control and even, at times, move him away from the plays. He will be forced out of his groove. :popcorneater:

Watson #21 (DE) will face the unforgettable power of lead blocker THS's #44 fullback and will forever more be preoccupied with future collisions and will be forced out of his groove limiting his effectiveness. :o

Newport #44 (LB) will face the trickery of the entire THS O-line attack and will have more shoulder pads against his jersey than ever before. Since LB's hate getting blocked he too will be forced out of his groove and be limited in effectiveness. :roflol:

White #53 (DT) will find the relentless mixed play offense of THS frustrating and that frustration will force him to go into hypermode which will then further cause him to fall out of his groove. :roflol:

Man this is Groove-Y. With the leading players of the Seymour defense completely out of their Groove THS will have victory in the bag by the end of the 3rd QTR.

Air Harmon will also shine and the speed of THS backs will be too much for the Mighty and Strong Seymour Eagles.

Prediction. THS 41 - Semour 14 (but only if THS has an attitude of SERIOUS RESPECT going in)
