WaggleRT
We don't have lights on the practice field and we sure don't have names on the jerseys. Neither of them matter. We play for the green and gold, for 420 students plus, for 5,500 people of Rockwood. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAH! You Smell it? We Ready! We Ready! tdog
Time for one last edition of Haterade for the bull puppies: 1) Does the amount of fans you have at a game make the difference?? 2) How many milk jugs and cowbells do those fans need to bring home victory?? 3) Does the distance an opposing team travels dictate how well they will play?? 4) Will the number of TOOL BELTS standing at the fence before the game "psyching the opposing team out" really affect the psyche of the Rockwood players??? None of the above have anything to do the the game of football, but the bullpuppy faithful would have you think otherwise. Either way, I hope the fence crew gets plowed over at some point like the Stanford Band!!!! Regardless of what ole hater thinks, these kids like to hear some noise. Get behind um and stay behind them. Emotion is a huge part of sports, when they hear their croud, they get pumped. Why would you even go to a game if you were not going to cheer on you're team. Its not like you're watching a game on the tube. GET LOUD ole hater hasn't a clue dogs win by 7 says the faithful fence crew !!
pujo
so pujo i was a senior for cosby in 06 "we had some battles" and hampton had a squad with townsend & lunsford and company. where does this years team stack up against that one? Tough question sportsfan07, all teams are different with different strengths and weaknesses. The one thing Ido know ,that was Cosby's best team. You guys were pretty good that year. Hope you and all you're old teammates are doing well in the game of life. I really like those Lowe kids, seemed like fine people.
dawgbacker
Well dawgs its time to put up or shut up ! You have been prepairing for this time of year all season. Go into this game with intensity and determination. Everyone in Hampton believes you can do it. Dont second guess your instincs, just do what your coaches have instilled in you all year long. Complete Domination Is Your Goal,, Play Every Play Like It May Be Your Last, and you will come out VICTORIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pujo
I don't know if anyone realizes it or not ,but Rockwood seems to be a 2ond half team. Their last 3 games, they have either been behind, tied or barely ahead at halftime. Hampton will need to play every down for 4 quarters. One of the biggest flaws I've noticed about this group is they don't give the same type of effort all the time.In the Happy Valley game, in the 1st half ,Happy Valley couldn't run it a lick. In the second half ,they went through us like a knife does hot butter. In the Cloudland game, they just ran on us from the start, last week ,we were stuffing TP every playin the st half, they ran all over us in the 2ond. In every case ,these teams were running the same plays with the same kids. Its all about effort, ask Oneida if you can let up on Rockwood, I'm not even saying they did, but Iknow we can't. If we play as hard as we can every down for 4 quarters , Ilook for a 14 to 31 point win, if not ,we are very apt to lose. Rockwood don't seem to give up very easy. You are going to have to whip um.They won't have it any other way.The only time you ever let up in a football game is when the buzzzer sounds. You have 2 choices, one is a happy thing ,the other is to stand out there crying you're eyes out like the kids from TP did last week. Ultimately ,this is the players team, its up to the players to either win or lose. Its pretty special to be one of the 4 teams left in the state. Iwant to see a COMPLETE ballgame. You might surprize yourselves. Now go out there and GETTTTTTTTTTTTTURRRRRRRRRRRDUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
kazam37
Pujo.....not really sure that Oneida ever really let up? I think their personnel enabled them to remain in the game until they got some scores. We were never dominant last week even with the 14 point lead. That fullback #25 never once went backwards, we might have stopped him cold a couple of times...but he almost always got yards after contact. Rockwood Muscle eventually overcame Oneida Muscle. That's the way I saw it.....! But our kids that were playing.....never quit....! Kaz p.s. Good luck........both teams......you're both gonna need a little! akphilips
Looking for an edge, which team is capable of spreading the field to open up their offense, I look for a possible stalemate in the running game???

We expect to be hit, but we expect to do a whole lotta hitting to. You dig it!
