binns37388
The Tullahoma Wildcats are now 14-3 and play at Lebanon in a DH on Sat. Thats quite a turnaround for a team that won 6 games last season. Tullahoma has only played 4 home games. The Cats play Lincoln Co next week in district action, followed by Franklin Co and then Columbia the following weeks.
columbiaguy
actually 70's 80's 90's and 05 but when mathis was promoted to A.D. not so much I don't think that was the same district in the 70's and 80's. They had one good year in the 90's and that was 98. No team has been to the region half as many times as Columbia since 98. To me, that is dominant. Not one year hear and one year there. TullahomaGuy
Tullahoma won both games from Lebanon today. Two more road wins. I'm looking forward to the two game series with Columbia the last week of district play. Should be two Great games to watch.
Brad41
Tullahoma is now 16-3. Quite an improvement from an 8-26 season last year..
redbird9
Columbia Vs Lawrence Tullahoma Vs Lincoln Co Franklin Co Vs Shelbyville Columbia and LC could be close. Tullahoma and Lincoln shouldn't be close but you never know. I think Franklin and Shelbyville will split. Thompson is back, right?
Guest
Columbia Vs Lawrence Tullahoma Vs Lincoln Co Franklin Co Vs Shelbyville Columbia and LC could be close. Tullahoma and Lincoln shouldn't be close but you never know. I think Franklin and Shelbyville will split. Thompson is back, right? Columbia and Tullahoma sweep, both are pitching and hitting well. Franklin County and Shelbyville split, unless FC gets back to where they were a week and a half ago (we could sweep). Play like we have been lately and we get swept. Errors are killing our ptiching, plus walks aren't helping, and we haven't hit consistently. Alot of games this week should help our hitting, but we need to remain focused. Yea, Columbia has been one of the better teams in the district. From 98, and really 97 if you want to go back a year, Coffee County and Columbia represented the district in the region more often than anyone else. I'm not sure of the Columbia years. But I'm pretty sure Coffee was there in 97, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007 and 2009. I know Columbia was in there with them in 2004 for sure, right? But with Coffee gone, it opens the district up quite a bit more.
Brad41
Tullahoma beat Lincoln County tonight 14-2. The two runs were unearned. Tullahoma is now 5-0 in district play.

persistant
Dont want to make anyone mad, but, after seeing both Tullahoma and Columbia, I would give the advantage to Tullahoma. Going to be a great match up between them.
binns37388
Comparing Tullahoma with Columbia. Tullahoma has the better record at 17-3 compared to Columbia at 11-8, but Columbia has played the tougher schedule. The Cats schedule gets tougher at the end with LaVergne, Oakland and Beech plus the series with Columbia and Franklin Co. I would rate the Tullahoma-Columbia games as a toss-up at this point. Of course, I picked Kentucky to win the NCAA bkb tourney and we all know what happened. I never underestimate Coach Pickle and the Lions in baseball. They are real competitive every season, but the Cats are building momemtum heading down the stretch.
