Southwind vs. Ridgeway for sure- Alot of upcoming talents, the two schools may have the best junior classes in the state(talent wise).

 

Melrose vs. Mitchell- High Powered game with stars Will Gross(Melrose) and Nate Cole(Mitchell)

 

White Station vs. Briarcrest- Always an exciting game with good offensive play.

 

P.S. I'm more of the type that likes shootouts so the games I posted won't exactly be defensive struggles. Lol.

Lawrence County vs. Columbia.. Week 0 .. will feature two of the best teams in the state, Columbia escaped Hendrix-Staggs Stadium last year with a very close victory and went on to a 5A state runner up season.. LC posted a 9-3 record in 2009, taking part in the state playoffs for the first time since '86. they lost to a very talented Mitchell Memphis team in the second round. Columbia should come back with another high powered offense while LC boasts one of the most physical/best defenses in the state. the pads will be poppin come august 19, and should be full of excitement!

Rivalries aside, I think Ensworth @ Oakland has to certainly be considered for one of the top games in 2010. This game will have its fair share of star power along with 2 of the top coaching staffs in the state.

WHITEHAVEN VS. (X) are games I wanna see. all 15 of them games.

 

Our money games this year will be vs. Fairley, White Station, Melrose, Mitchell and CBHS.

I have not heard anything as well. Maybe one of those deals where we wont really know until the week leading up to it. I kind of hope that they dont so Oakland can get a bigger gate

No, this game will not be televised on the Thursday night light up anyway. Smyrna is opening with Beech. I hear the Oakland/ Brentwood game will be move to the Thursday Night lineup.
