Greeneville vs Sullivan South Week 1

Well Greeneville's JV beat South's JV 33-0. I sure hope their varisty is a little better. Could be some long years coming up for the Rebels!

 

That was the Freshmen. Big difference and not really indicative of future events.

Or some really good years for the Devils. I usually don't put a whole lot into scrimmages and JV games, but 33-0 is a good showing no matter who is playing.

 

I was at the South Greeneville JV games in 08 and 07 and South absolutely destroyed Greeneville both games - don't recall the exact scores but I'm pretty sure the game at Greeneville was something like 50 to 10. Fast forward to 09 and Greeneville had a pretty decent team. So I wouldn't put too much stock in the JV scores. On the other hand, I don't beleive South lost a JV game in 07 or 08 - and they also had a pretty darn good team in 09.

You can throw out most JV games boys.It's a lot easier to play kids your own age when you are going against monsters on friday night.Some teams will load up and some will use it for what it's meant for.I don't know George but I did know a Philip Hall.

First Quarter was a nightmare for the devils having 4 fumbles 2 which they lost and 1 South scored on...

Greeneville seems they might be in a rythm but the refs wont call a holding call. they are killin jamel out there...

The Devil Defense well is doin what they do best! Not givin ya a thing!
