I'm gonna have to wait for the cliff notes to really understand it, but I think he is saying The Loss (as it will be forever known) was a carefully orchestrated political maneuver at the direction of Greeneville's benefactor (referred to as our Saviour)I'm still trying to figure how he got from state-sponsored land grabbing to referee payola in only 15 years...and why the socio-political structure of Greene County has anything to do with a FOOTBALL GAME.

 

Got the Cliffs Notes barb, they donated all of them so I can sell them as a fundraiser to help pay the refs!

I respectfully disagree with your assessment Comp. Garvin is a tall frame, not blessed with the quickest first step. He is the center of the passing attack. No passing, then no running in the spread.

CAP,"Congrats"!!!I heard you got hired at Tennessee High as there new AFRO ENGINEER teacher!!Way to go buddy, :thumb: i just hope you know more about that,because you dont know much about high school football.At least you have a good,aint that right.

Hey Toss… I did get a chance to talk to Otis’s dad and he cleard up a few things for me. He’s the one that told me his DAUGHTER would be a while. I was thrown for a second and asked him didn’t he mean WIFE... cause he looked like a pimp to me. He said “no I meant daughter†and gave me a big wink. :o I thought to myself that now it all makes sense!!! You can’t mess around with them chromosomes!!!!!

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
