Best Coaches?

Im new around here...can somebody tell me who the best coaches in A and AA ball are in Tennessee? :confused:

Doc Shelton--Martin Luther King

AAA-Winston Gamble--Maplewood

Dennis King--Brentwood

Bobby Luna--Gallatin

A--The guy at Tennessee Temple (his name escapes me)

D2--George Pitts--Brentwood Academy

Jerry Meyer--MBA

Remember guys, he asked for the best coaches not the best won-lost records.

I love our coach at Centennial, Brian Kelly. He always get the best out of what he has. Hes defintely one of the better coaches in the state

drknows...... the guy from Temple's name is Dan Wadley and I agree with you about him...I have both watched him coach and played against him.... His team is always well prepared..He does a great job

Hubie Smith from Bartlett also has to be on the AAA list.

Yes, Hubie Smith would have to be added to that list..heres another list of coaches that dont get recognized.

I think these are not only the midstates best but the states best coaches, their win-lost record proves it along with the amount of kds they've sent to the next level..They get the best out of their kids and that is what you want from a coach.

Well done. Kington and Harper are really good coaches. I wish Tris was coaching at Lebanon. I think you would have to include Kile at WC. He coaches hard. Jamie Wilson is a personal favorite of mine. Very intelligent. Had some very good teachers.

Ruppsrunt, I agree with you totally..I had the pleasure to meet Jamie last year when he took the Harpth job and he is one of my personal favorites as well.

Brien crowder has to be one of the best coaches in the state. He took Rhea county, a football school, to the substate a year ago. He is a great motivator and very knowledgeable. he and his staff are a very hardworking group and we are blessed to have them at rhea county high. if you haven't heard of him yet, you will.

I'll have to agree with you on Fred Harper. How do you know him. I played for him in high school and he was a great teacher and prepared us for every game, mentally and physically.

Well, I'm his assistant coach..Great person, the guy can FLAT OUT coach the game of basketball..He loves and cares for his players..I just wish there were more coaches like him.

 

This wouldnt happen to be Mr.Todd Co and TN Tech Stud Greg Bibb would it? Anyways, I'd definitely have to put Fred Harper with anyone as far as coaching Hoops on any level.
