geo1126
I think personally this will be for the #2 seed of the region. Both seem to be on a roll, but I have to go with the Tigers once again.MC 35 GB

mclightning
I think that first win against Sycamore was exactly what MC needed, they needed to learn that they could win. Now that they have they are on a roll and I think they're going to be a very hard team to beat down the stretch, maybe even win out, they're only going to keep getting better under coach P. I'm going with MC 35-
Wishbone
Another tough game that should be a blast to watch. If MC can continue their improvement and hard work as has shown all season, hopefully we can get another W. Let's keep the momentum going Tigers! Macon 21 Greenbrier

I know people get excited about a big win but thats quite a stretch. I think it will more like GB 28 MC 24. I also believe White House still has chance along with these teams if they were to win out in the district. Which unfortunatly could happen. hustleflow12
Yes we will see it should be a good one. Greenbrier and Smith County are similiar teams both disciplined but Greenbrier has a little more offensive firepower.
howdoitknow
Greenbrier is better than Smith County offensively but Smith County is better than Greenbrier defensively. Take it from someone who has seen them both up close in person this season. Macon County is a team that has built up some steam. They defeated Sycamore and then turned around and won over Smith County in convincing fashion. Greenbrier is a team that has been real good in close games all season long. Creek Wood (26-23), Sycamore (17-15), White House (28-21), Cheatham (25-23) were all very intense battles that the Bobcats pulled out late. I look for this to be a back and forth game throughout but anyone who has ever played Greenbrier through the years knows that they are very tough to beat at the friendly confines of "Bobcat Field". I look for Greenbrier to win a 28-21 type of game. Both teams run the Wing-T but both teams also have the unusual ability to do lots of damage with their passing offenses out of the Wing-T. I just can't bet against the Bobcats at home but I do want to say CONGRATS to Macon County for the vast improvement this season.

Our tackling and secondary coverage were the worst I have seen all year. Everyone knew it was going to be tough for us to get up again after a huge victory over White House. Every other game this year, I would say the defense out performed the offense. However, I am still hoping for both the offense and defense to click together for a complete game vs Macon County this week. Maybe we were just playing down for the Lipscomb coach watching from the sidelines . Always love the atmosphere in Macon County, and their band was "awesome" at our place two years ago. Looking forward to another great football game.
GreenbrierCat2
Greenbrier plays better sometimes as the underdog. Seems that earning respect is something that we are constantly striving for. This 5-1 season of close calls is great but we need to have some games where we just pile it on kinda like Wisconsin over APSU. Bobcats need to make sure and come down off the cloud and play like they are playing for the title. Bumping and one handed grabs needs to stop now...UT and Cats need to go back to the basics of WRAPPING UP, filling the holes, and building a wall. Hopefully the Bobcat Faithful will come to play Friday night! 12th man can make a difference at Bobcat Field. Who wants it more? Hopefully Greenbrier does! Go Cats. Focus!
