Come On Temite, you know that if you had played college ball you would be over qualified to coach at CC...just curious on your depth of knowledge and if you had went to that level??? Only say that you being the waterboy is a more plush status verses your boy "Ain't-wan" and his coming out that the only time he hit the football field was at halftime with the BAND!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The depth of my knowledge, or lack of, is like most others on here. I played a little, and have watched a lot. And as everybody knows, if you've seen 10 games before, and set in the bleachers for 3 games, you achive expert status. :lol: I think the same qualifications work in baseball and basketball too. I will say there are some kids in SC that Termite has coached.(that's kinda scarry) I've found that the most knowledge comes from people that have never even played a game of checkers.

If Antwan is who I think he is.....a little white ball and a piece of wood was what he was known for.

I know SC was playing Upperman, but everybody got a glimps or the future if they were paying attention last night. #25-#21-#1-#14-#24-#5-#49-#15-#56-#64-#65-#15-#8-#11-#20-#28-#80-#52 are players, and if I'm not mistaken are all soph and frosh. AND I've probably let some out.......

I know SC was playing Upperman, but everybody got a glimps or the future if they were paying attention last night. #25-#21-#1-#14-#24-#5-#49-#15-#56-#64-#65-#15-#8-#11-#20-#28-#80-#52 are players, and if I'm not mistaken are all soph and frosh. AND I've probably let some out.......

 

Don't leave out Terry Collins and Eddie West, the radio announcers said at the end of the game the coaches were grabbing anybody and everybody to put in the game and since Terry and Eddie were on the sidelines, Carthage Courier, they were running off the sidelines to escape playing time. Not worried about Terry, but I might have my doubts about Eddie. :roflol:

Great win Owls. Way to rebound and get it back on track. Keep it going the rest of the way.

 

Competion not real stromg but the team looked much better than last week. #4 had a good game and the line blocking was very good. The defense, w/o Pinson, played a stellar game. Now, get ready for White House.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
