ouch ! Not going to win many games in boys play scoring 54 points or 51 as Lake Co and Union City both did.At least both teams did betetr in the second game as least score wise ,even though both lost.Maybe both teams will get it together after the Christmas break.

Poor defensive rotation by Lake-County really cost them. Effort is there but positioning is horrible.

You can if you play good defense...UC wants to keep games in the 50's...It's apparent neither played much defense...

 

UC will probably come out of this 5-11....Been quite awhile since anyone has seen that type of record by a UC boys team..

Zebra, they went back to strictly gc schools. No dc or bolivar this year.

Falcons drop another one tonight to Dyersburg. They not playing real well right now. They just seem in a funk right now, shooting is not very good and they are struggling to find someone to score. Hope they can play their way out of this because due to the tourney schedule not much time for practice. They have played 5 games now in in 6 days. and 4 in the last 4. The pace they play may be catching up to them not real sure.

Greenfield beat Clarksburg 66-39 tonight. Heath Crouse, a Jr., had 28 points. From what I understand, Clarksburg was leading district 13A..in first place with a 6-0 record.

Union City lost at Graves County, KY last night 61-57....

 

Looks like UC and LC may play tonight to see who places last and next to last in the Time Piece Classic...

Humboldt plays Memphis Northside Thursday in a classic in Fayette Ware, I can say Mr. Boykin is doing better trying to schedule teams outside the area. So far, the Vikings have played Dyersburg, Haywood , & will play Jackson Northside & Ripley later on during the season. Hopefully, the Vikes will continue to improve on the 8-0 start, defense Has been stepping up lately & each one of the starters has led the team in scoring this year!

& what is that Purple & Gold Standard because I'm talking about this years team not worrying about the past? Maybe this will be the year Humboldt makes it to that next level because they have made it to state the last six out of seven years with nothing to show but I like this team chances!
