alt1958
Hopefully we go a little better than we did last night. But we have beaten Coffee County and Coach Nunley once already this year. Always tough to do the second time. And even worse Coach Nunley is from Cleveland to boot. So he'll have them ready to play.
baconbreath
There's nothing better at this time of year than to check the playoff brackets and find that your team is still in the hunt for the ultimate goal, a state championship. It's been a while for the Bears to make the post-season (2000) but Coach Damon Floyd and his great assistants have gone about the task of rebuilding the program and the pride of the Black and Gold. It could all end this Friday night but it could also continue deep into the playoffs. At this point, it's really more up to the players than the coaches. There is not much more that can be taught 11 weeks into the season. It is merely a matter of execution of the fundamentals. For all the hoopla associated with football, it is a very simple game consisting of blocking, tackling and protecting the football. Good luck to all the playoff teams and here's hoping that the Bears find themselves looking forward to Week 2 of the TSSAA playoffs. bb

Jedi
coach floyd should count his tssaa blessings good luck bears run masengale...over and over give your defense a chance fishdad, are you seriously giving the head coach for Bradley advice? You wouldn't know a football play if it hit you in the face. By the way we don't want you on bandwagon go create a thread on how Ooltewah is going to get back some of those East Hamilton players that you lost. You have talked down Bradley and their athletes for too long to get on here wish us luck. One last point to you sucker fish Bradley's defense shut the Owls out until we put reserves in the 4th qtr and u recovered on side kick. that is called trash touchdown if you were trying to cover spread of 21 points you won your bet still a dominating win. WOW what a difference a year makes and a few athletes for some quality coach's to coach. By the way we have 19 td s thru the air.... Balence Balence Balence. it is nice to be able to do both. Ooltewah keep running running running. 0 pass yards now that will get u "fishy". pLEASE GO TO SOME OTHER GAME FRIDAY I DON'T WANT TO SMELL U
chs4life
I just hope your PA guy learns he is not doing play by play or a comic or whatever he was doing the last time we were there. Your team is very good, I just hope the PA guy learns some manners.

Titans21
Game wont be close....Coffee County is AWFUL...word is...is that Cookeville lost on purpose to keep one of the murfreesboro teams out of quad 2...lol Yea you are probably right the Cookeville coaches put their heads together and said hey lets loose so someone from the Boro won't get to go. Good luck to both teams...
bigmoney128
Right, coaches throw games all the time. You are an idiot. Stick to your job at the factory and let the real coaches coach. Not the armchair quarterbacks. Coach Nunley and his staff had a good game plan and Cookeville had key penalties and turnovers. Just that simple. Poor Murfreesboro teams. my2cents
Yea you are probably right the Cookeville coaches put their heads together and said hey lets loose so someone from the Boro won't get to go. Good luck to both teams... When the 4th place team from district 7 wins your quad you may think different, unless of course the only "disrict champ" in your quad Coffee County at 3-7 wins it.
