Execution is on the players. However, some of the responsibility falls on the Coach. To quote Harry Truman, "The Buck stops here." We never said we have too much talent to lose. I have seen too many Pirate teams get beat that were arguable better than these guys are at times. The operative words there are "at times." Your defense better bring its A game because if you don't and you blink, you may have 50+ points on the board.

Lancer get your facts straight before you bring it before a jury..I have never said anything about changing coaches..I wish we was in the wingT but thats all I have said...I think SP has the best core coaching group in 1a in the state..

Let me ask you More County people a question. Someone told me that coach at Moore County would not give Grider any film. Is this true? What kind of mess is this? How are we supposed to know what yall run. I garuntee you that we might get beat if we don't know what kind of plays these Moore County boys run. You think im joking but im not.

Moore County was going to get Grider some film, but Grider told them that he didn't did any.

TrainTracks says the Train has been well oiled throughout the year be will be missing some key cogs for this Frday nights Round 2 slugfest...Train will b slowed momentarily but not enough for Blue Raider Country to pull the upset even if the great Brandon Wells comes back and suits up....MC has had problems in the past at containing teams with speed and this Friday will b no different...SP 41-MC 14

Don't agree there. Adkins at Jo Byrns has a better staff in my humble opinion. Given SP talent last year he'd of won the Gold Ball. You have a top four staff.

    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
