Humboldt is a better team this year than last year, and the Cardinals just dont seem to be as good as last years team. I'm gonna have to go with Humboldt on this one. They have incredible speed, and they have a big line. I wouldnt be shocked if Adamsville won this one though.

You Know It's Really Cool How You Straddle The Fence Like That...That Way No Matter Who Wins It looks Like You Called It..... :roflolk:

Adamsville will come to play i promise you that! I hope the Cards are in shape because they will need all the legs they have! I look for Humboldt to take it to the Cards! The Vikings have revenge on their mind! Good luck to both teams!

Your right the Cards will come to play, and i'm gonna say we in pretty good shape!

I know the vikings got some speed, but I think our boys are ready for speed! Westwood had excellent team speed (at many positions),it will be a battle well worth the 8 dollar ticket! I just hope they got a good concession stand! :popcorneater:

like you would have time to visit the concessions. This one is gonna be a war. Humboldt does not have any more speed than Westwood, but they do have more skilled linemen. It will take the Cards playing one of their better games this year to pull out the win, but it is a very big possibility. We have to not turn the ball over, and play inspired defense. Since we decided to play a little defense we have been able to cover some of our mistakes. Humboldt will not allow us that luxury. Come out gonna be a great night and lets get it on. Play hard, Play Fast, And Play loose. Above all else lets have some fun.

yes I did leave that out but the Cards have a pretty good little coaching staff themdarnselves. I know the kids will be given a game plan that will work against the bolt but it really comes down to which group of kids executes the best. That team probably wins the game. People can down these boys all they want but they will fight to the end. If it ends this week so be it someone has to lose, but if you think these boys are just gonna hand it over just because you are fast and well coached then you got another thing coming. I know they are not any faster than westwood. The fact is humboldt will be better prepared for things coming their way and will execute at higher levels than westwood. It is just that different in rural West TN than it is in Memphis. I look fro a close game not decided to late.

Let them prepare for Westwood. Don't tell them that they are playing Humboldt. We want to surprise them.

Ohhh! Don't worry we preparing for the Bolt! And as my lil buddy stated earlier , humboldt will be a lot tougher! Better line, better game plan and better coaching than Westwood!

But just like last year people didn't really think we could pull it off! Trust me we coming to the bolt looking for a win!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
