watcheroplays
Camden has removed more than a few monkeys from their backs in the past 7 years... Bruceton- Check McKenzie- Check Huntingdon- Check Westview- Check Milan- ?? 4 down, 1 to go...I think this year's the year Go LIONS!! Nothing would make this Charger fan happier than to see the Camden Lions end the bulldogs season Friday night. We gave them their one loss this season....here's hoping you give them their other one. Good Luck Lions!!
Deek
??? Kids used to be able to pay a few years back, but Humboldt city schools sued the school district (or got some sort of injunction) to prevent this. I could be wrong or mistaken...but I'm not certainly not LYING!!! If that has been lifted or eased, I stand corrected. I lived, went to school, played football and graduated from Milan. My wife works in Milan and my daughter attened Milan elementary. When Humboldt caused the zoning laws to take place, my daughter could no longer attend Milan schools. We were the 2nd house outside the "line". Nothing I could do could get her back in Milan schools. Granted she is not a football player but it is extremely hard to attend the Milan school district if your out of the zone. Money doesn't matter, I've tried. scots50
Lie. In fact.... Now, now, APB. let's not taunt these good folk with facts. Sometimes, people just cannot handle the truth!
swingjuice
APB.....comparing Alcoa's school district rules to Milan's is like apples and oranges. Just like the one guy said, after Humboldt lawsuit, I had to put my house up for sale in hopes of moving into the MSSD. Lucky my wife was able to get a teaching position at Milan so we were able to stay in our house. No, I have never had any kids who played football. Johnny Cochran (God rest his soul) couldn't get a kid into the Milan school district who was outside the zone! Wonder why there is a thread about the Alcoa Zoning that is 15 pages long and there's not one about Milan? I guess all those folks in Gibson County are just being nice & keeping quiet about Milan stealing all the good players in the county because they want to see them beat the Tornadoes! Got to beat the Lions first, it will be a huge challenge for the young pups... Milan 28 Camden 21 Go Dawgs! AlcoasPaintedBridge
I really do not care either way. You Milan sheep can spin it any way you want to, but the policy is the same as Alcoa no matter how you smother it, cover it, slice it, dice it, top it or chunk it. The same goes for Loudon. There are TENS of open zone smaller schools. How you use it is up to you. rebulldawg, you are more than welcome to head up to the press box at MHS and rub the shoulders of our favorite Milan transplant that LOVES to hate on the F5. Notice we haven't heard from him any this year?? With the run that Maryville is getting ready to go on though, he will be back in FULL force. I figured I'd at least get a little love for my Johnny Cochran reference! I hear what you're saying on the policy. I just know that Humboldt made it a nightmare for a lot of folks around Milan, because parents used to have the freedom to pay tuition for their kids and not have to jump through all the hoops there are now. I think most people have given up on trying to get in, because it is such a hassle. Anyway, it is what it is, and if folks really want to play for Milan, they move there. Oh, believe me, me and my friend from Milan have found each other! We talk football at least a couple of times a week. He and my dad were inducted into the Sports hall of fame there in Gibson county together (or maybe a year apart, I can't remember). We didn't play at the same time, so I didn't know him from the field. He's a good fella.
GoddardField
I have what I call Goodpasture syndrome. Im tired of seeing Alcoa beat the same old teams in the playoffs. Nothing against Milan or Goodpasture but please someone else get there for once.

GoddardField
Do you really want to see the Wing-T again? I love the Delaware Wing T offense but I dont care what offense the team runs. I just want to see some new meat. Even if they come out in the Pistol formation
