Wasn't Pemberton an assistant at Rhea County years ago? Think he has family in the area. Might be a great fit. Rhea County certainly has more potential to be a great team than Macon County does.

After working with Mike Davis for a few years in the basketball world, and beside him as a teacher, I think he would be a great fit. Organization, and discipline is top notch and he doesn't care who your Momma and Daddy is or what they think. Everyone is the same in his eyes and you can win with a guy like that. He has paid his dues and I think would do well running the program. :thumb:

Oh Lordy. I've been associated with TJ7. I could get upset, but I'm too easy going for that. You're entitled to your opinion; I respect it.

 

Does anyone have any legit updates on prospects for the position?

 

 

I can appreciate your uneasiness being linked to Taw, I apologize - this uncertainty is making me crazy. I really wish he would grace us with some more of his infinite wisdom. I heard a report today that Messimer was seen playing golf with Bill Cowher! That would be the coup of the century

I was just wondering, Mitchell does not want the head job and Davis is the only other person who has been on staff for the last 5 years. Checking a program from last year, I see that he has like 23 or 24 years experience with coaching football. Why does anyone not think that he would be interested in the head coaching position? He has worked in several of the programs here at Rhea County and done a great job. Our special teams have won us numerous games over the years. Jash, Hester and Rickert plus Spider Monkey have all earned All Region honors. He has good discipline, is very fair and has great knowledge of all aspects of the game. I do not see him moving anytime soon with a daughter (I think a 9th grader) and another son who has done well in little eagles and the dizzy dean league. I see him moving this program forward in a very positive way.

 

Don't think Davis is the man for the job. Nothing personal, just don't think it is a good idea.

      Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
